The official finding of the investigation indicated the two-year-old SUV, which William was operating at the time the fatal crash occurred, failed to stop due to a faulty brake line. The couple 's bodies were so severely traumatized, a closed casket ceremony was held in their honor. A seemingly uncorrelated death of a child becomes an attack on two businesses that brought forth unwanted attention. It reveals how corporations can truly neglect their surroundings and the safety of citizens without remorse. In the quaint town of Woburn, Massachusetts, the death of Anne Anderson’s son due to leukemia quickly transformed from a personal tragedy to an extensive lawsuit. Anne Anderson approached Jan Schlichtmann, a personal injury lawyer, to tackle the case. From the beginning, Anne makes it clear that she does not want money, she simply wants an apology.
There have been many people who have looked into the case of Karen Silkwood. One investigator had seen skid marks along with the incredulous dent in her back bumper. That indicated that another car had forced Silkwood into a culvert (“November 13, 1974). Considering the fact that they was evidence that there was another car many people said that is was indeed murder. Even Bill Silkwood,Karen Silkwood’s father, deducted that she was murdered exclaiming that he needed to learn who killed his daughter (Bashke 194).

Dear Members of the Jury, I am writing you this letter to tell to you that Tom Robinson should be proven not guilty. This case would have never happened if the truth would have been told and it wasn’t a case between black and white. There are many ways that Robinson is not guilty. One of these reasons that Tom Robinson is not guilty is that if you listened to the Sheriff 's testimony he stumbled frequently and when he said something and then Atticus would say something different he would agree with Atticus. Tom Robinson is a very polite man with great manners, which you could take into consideration that he wouldn’t dare hurt this woman in this kind of manner.
Betty Lou Jensen and David Faraday were on their first date but sadly the date took a turn for the worse and they were murdered. It did not take long for police to get to the crime scene but even though they arrived at an early time they were never successful or even close to catching the murderer, and the case had many suspects but they all led to dead ends and the case was besar and was not in the detectives favor due to the crime scene and timing of the murder. The crime shows exactly what happened that night but it shows no motives which puzzled people and the detectives. The murderer of these two young kids was a very intelligent man because he was not even suspected of the crimes he committed and got away with other murders that occurred
An urban legend, as defined by the Merriam –Webster dictionary, is an often a lurid story that is based on hearsay and widely circulated as true. According to Nicholas DiFonzo, a renowned author and psychology professor, urban legends are “narratives about strange, funny, or horrible events that could have happened, the details of which change to fit particular locales and time periods, and which frequently contain a moral lesson.” The stories are entertaining, include cultural references, and convey people’s anxieties about certain topics. While some consider urban legends as myths with a possibility of truth in it, these tales evolve to suit the common themes of the time.

The cars on the highway were caught in a slow crawl, not unusual for any morning trip to work but Will could hear the wail of ambulance sirens in the distance and the flashing blue and red lights of police cars. Soon enough he passed by the barricades which blocked off a portion of the road. A crumpled car, rammed from the back and front, windscreen completely smashed, stood by the dented railings of the road. On the tar road, a body lay sprawled, face down in a pool of dark red and black, stained glass shards around it stuck in the lime-green and blue jacket which the victim wore. Will swallowed, the air in the car suddenly becoming clammy and the profiler looked away, continuing his daily routine.
Instead he regretting publishing the photo after it was published. Another problem in this case is that the family is now always reminded that they were at fault for the boy’s death because they were not keeping a close on eye on him. The community knows the family from the paper and they will never forget what happen, which was the goal for the editor, but Bentley did not think about what the impact of the picture would do to the family. STRUCTURE AND UNITY Leviticus is often considered a work of several authors over a long period of time, mostly during the exile of Israel in Babylonia. There are several proposal dates for these incest laws. On the one hand, according to John E. Hartley, the suggestion varies between scholars. He points a few proposals: “Elliger locates the old kernel in a nomadic era.” Then he adds, “Kilian and Reventlow assign the laws to the wilderness period.”
