A Wrinkle in Time is a science-fiction book written by Madeleine L’Engle, even though it was published in 1962 it is still a very popular novel, which is part of Modern-English classical literature. The novel has around 10 characters, and one main character, Meg Murry. All of the characters have different personalities and different ways of seeing the things they go through. This novel is still very popular probably because of the creativity of the author at creating the setting and the interesting plot. I think what makes this book one of the best I’ve read id the message it gives at the end. Here is what I think about the novel.
The main character is Meg Murry, she is a twelve-year-old girl who doesn’t do good at school, she considers herself very “plain” in comparison to her beautiful mother. She hates school because of her lack of friends and the way people make fun of her. Things get worse for her when her father disappears and rumors start appearing around the city. What she doesn’t know is that inside that “plain” girl lives a heroin that might save the hole world and the people she loves. I think I like her the

W’s, Mrs. Murry, Dennys and Sandy, The Happy Medium, The Man with Red Eyes, Aunt Beast, Mr. Murry, Charles Wallace and Calvin O’Keefe. The last two will accompany Meg during their galactic adventures. Charles is a 5-year-old boy who is the brother of Meg and is very different from the rest of the people, he has certain “abilities” and is very fierce. I really like that about him, because he never gives up.Calvin is a fourteen-year-old boy that goes to Meg’s school and, unlike Meg, he is very popular, handsome, good at school and at sports, but because reasons of the world he gets to meet Meg in a closer way and agree to help her find her father with Charles, he would discover that he is way more than what he thinks he is. Personally I love how Calvin cares so much about his friends and specially about
In Mr.Dejong’s language arts class, we were reading Wrinkle in time. In this essay, I will tell you why Madeleine L'Engle wrote this book and also what Wrinkle in Time taught me about science. Madeleine L’Engle wrote this book with her father lost for a greater amount of time in the book by the cause of her own father died when she was 17 from serving in the military and being exposed to mustard gas so he had health problems his whole life from him being exposed to mustard gas. That’s why she had Meg lose her father for most of the book.
Different forms of speech can affect one’s belief for long periods of time. In Madeleine L’Engle’s science fiction novel, “A Wrinkle in Time,” the children in this excerpt create tension between them and the man with the red eyes. Inside the novel, Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin encounter the red-eyed man on their journey to find Meg’s missing father. The Man tries to hypnotize the children to put them under his power. Thus Charles Wallace ends up under his spell, and the kids are scared for what is yet to come.

` From the dawn of mankind, individuality and possibility have shaped the course of human history as it stands. Ranging from great scientists like Einstein to talented artists like Leonardo DaVinci, the world thrives off of individuality and hope for progression in our lives. Calvin O’Keefe and Meg shared a similar experience with the concepts of individuality and hope. As quoted in the book by Meg to Calvin, “Remember Mrs.Whatsit said your gift was communication and that was what she was giving you…, Can’t you try to get to him?” As it's shown, Meg hopes for Calvin to use his skilled communication to resuscitate Charles Wallace from his trance-like state.
In the book Meg thinks that she is stupid. She thinks that her brother will be dumb when he 's older like her. She gets in fights with the kids her age at her school. Her face gets white hot when people look at Charles Wallace like he is dumb. Meg is protective of the other characters.

A part of the book A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle’s tone is sad. Meg is sad that she doesn’t know what happened to her father and what to can do to find him. One may argue that a straight line is the fastest way to go from one point to another, but only after reading the book, A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle, readers can truly understand the fifth dimension of our universe, Tesseract. A dimension where you can fold time and space to get to a location faster. When reading the book, you can explore the way to use the Tesseract with our protagonist Meg Murry. Although it did bring her scars and painful memories as it caused her to lose her father. Without a doubt, the Tesseract is a sign of hope, courage, and a lesson in Meg's life.
He normally took business trips to conventions to discuss certain topics with other scientists but his trips weren’t as long as a year. It was much better than I had anticipated before reading it. Wes Moore is a strong author who properly used writing mechanics to deliver powerful scenes and great messages. I would say that the main theme of this book is the importance of education in adolescent life and that small things really can make all of the difference. The author Wes Moore 's life appeared very dull in comparison to the other Wes Moore 's; however, it was Wes Moore 's life that would provide quotes that inspire or were otherwise relatable to MAST life. One such quote in the novel was : "In spite of myself, I was impressed.
