Yes, I do believe that juvenile sex offenders should have to register as a sex offender after they become adults. One of the reasons I say this is because adults who are registered are given a stronger procedural safeguards then that of juveniles. Moreover, due to a desire for revenge by others, many juveniles who are registered are put at a severe risk of injury, regardless of the offenders’ risk level to the surrounding area. Lastly, in the example of the Illinois sexting case, making them register as an adult can be less expensive if it results in programs that put juveniles under supervision instead of sex offender status then is may be cheaper to maintain.
When they knowingly have a problem living in society with normal citizens. This is why I think that the punishment for sex offenders needs to meet the crime. In the book Sentencing Sex Offenders it tells of Jacob Erwin Wetterling.

I believe Officer Smith 's response of calling back up and then deciding to go knock at the sex offenders door was a good decision to make. But Officer Smith should have waited for backup before investigating another home. I believe Officer Smith also made the mistake of breaking into the sex offenders home after no response because of no proof and definitely because of no warrant. He had no authorization To break in. Therefore, in my point of view Officer Smith should have waited for his backup and gone for a warrant to search the sex offenders home.
Sexual offenders usually cause great harm to the societal at large leading a high level of public concern. When a person commits a sex-related crime, he or she is referred as a sex offender. Different culture and legal jurisdiction have different meaning and understanding about what constitutes a sex crime. When determining what to do with a sex offender, when and how to do it and the reasons for doing that, should be considered carefully. Development, needs, levels of risk and functioning of such individuals should be taken into consideration. Risk assessment is important because it helps in providing information on key decisions like the level of care the offenders required, treatment, and the type of placement (Doren, 2002).

The mother was unaware of the affects she would cause by doing so, she thought the local authorities would just speak to the boy, but instead the pursed a case against Frank with charges of statutory rape. The sex offered law should be changed for people that are in the same situation as frank.
According to Community Supervision (2001), it is imperative that sex offenders are supervised intensely. However, there are numerous aspects about the offender that an officer, therapist, or any other staff pertinent to the care of the offender should consider.
