Reuben told them that instead of doing this they should throw him in a pit, even though later he was going to go and get him. The brothers took away his multicolored tunic and threw him into the pit. Later on, Reuben left to work and a group of people who were going to Egypt were passing by. Since he denied, Potiphar's wife told him that Joseph was the one who wanted to lay with her which of course, wasn't true. Eventually, a cupbearer and a baker who worked for the Pharaoh got to jail too. They both had a dream which they told to Joseph and Joseph told the cupbearer that will get out soon. Joseph also told the cupbearer that he didn't forget about him when he got out of jail. The cupbearer was released and forgot about Joseph and what he did for him. After two years, the Pharaoh was having a dream that nobody could understand, so the cupbearer remembered about Joseph and his special gift. When Joseph was brought to the Pharaoh, the Pharaoh told him about the dream he was having and Joseph explained it to him perfectly. He explained the Pharaoh that there will be seven years of good crops and growth in Egypt, but then there will also be seven years of no food or resources. This shows how prideful Joseph is of his role in Waknuk as well as how devoted and determined he is to making sure there are no mutants whatshover. Another instance of Joseph’s devotedness was after his newborn baby, Petra, was born. In Waknuk, families do not recognize or pay any attention to their newborn until it receives a normalcy certificate from the inspector. Joseph’s wife gave birth to a baby, and had two babies who did not receive a normalcy certificate prior to this one.

Such as taking away the power that religious officials had. Amenhotep’s changes are extremely different than what we know about many Pharaohs before and after. Amenhotep III really built himself on a pedestal of being better than everyone else, whereas Horemheb did his best to weaken the power that religious figures had in Egyptian society. Horemheb oversaw the tearing down of many monuments and temples that the people before himself made, people such as Ay and Amenhotep III. The 18th dynasty ended with Horemheb, but Amenhotep III’s reign would show many religious changes that are actually quite surprising, where he saw himself more than a god than a member of his own family.
