There are many Americans who try to achieve the American Dream every single day. There are many barriers that prevent the American Dream from being accomplished by normal members of society. The three biggest barriers that prevent Americans are, lack of educational opportunities, lack employment, and negative living environments. Those are just a few. There are still people who are optimistic about the American Dream, and people who are not. Throughout the years the American Dream has been one the most controversial topics in American society.
