Sonata’s stomach growled. This time, it didn’t leave her confused. After all, it had been one week since the destruction of her pendant and the appearance of previously unknown sensations such as hunger and thirst. She had gotten used to them.
Thus she knew this sound from her tummy meant she had to go and eat something. Water wasn’t a concern, since the park was equipped with a drinking fountain, but food was more difficult to obtain. Not that it would discourage her from trying, of course. She wanted to make Adagio proud. So until Adagio came back, she would find food by herself.
Sonata climbed down the tree she had been perched in, which she had dubbed the “Watching Tree”, and skipped to the open area of the park. As it was Saturday, the

Ashley Johnson English II PAP 3rd Period Mrs. Styf 29 October 2015 Journal #10 It all started when Azula woke up in the middle of the night. Feeling ridiculously exasperated, Azula ate a ripened avocado, thinking it would make her feel better (but as usual, it did not). Then she realized that her beloved precious stone was missing! strides to quiet the ground under his feet. Fortunately, the leaves were damp from days of rain, lessening the crinkling and crunching of his footsteps. Starting with the first poem, TKAM can relate to this because it is similar to how Jem and Scout would walk to home from school. The first section states how the writer can remember calling their mother from the hall in the basement. This gives me an image of Scout or Jem calling Atticus. Sections two through 4 basically just gives an imagery of Scout, Jem, and occasionally Dill walking to their house. The final section stands out though because in the book, Scout does explain how her and Jem did walk home from school during winter.
Throwing her bag down onto the office couch, Veronica sunk down next to it, putting her feet up on the coffee table. Two grand from Mrs. Picarrino in her office safe, Veronica was sated enough to sour her good mood thinking about Logan Echolls. My novel choice is “The brave New world” by Aldous Huxley, I chose this novel because my teacher recommended me to try it. The title of the book “ brave new world” kind of catches my attention, first of all because the title have a very specific meaning I guess related to the story. I did actually notice some hint about the story, the cover page look very creepy and and have identical babies in tubes. From that, I’m hoping that is it what I’m thinking of which is: a bloody, human trafficking novel.

1. The author wants the reader to have empathy or understand where he’s coming from. The author states “You, who so well know the nature of my soul, will not suppose, however, that I gave utterance to a threat.” He tries to justify his future crime and wants the readers to understand.
