Thrilling, mysterious, and psychotic are all the words to describe the ABC’s new show, “The Family”. As most dramas and thrillers may have it, the show centers around finding the kidnapper of Adam Warren; the child that has returned home after ten years of disappearance. The two main questions to be asked throughout the show is: “Who truly is the kidnapper?” and “Is this really Adam Warren?” These questions can be answered when the show airs at nine eight central on ABC, channel seven. You definitely don’t want to miss it. If a television is not available for you at that time, you can always stream it online 24/7 or wait for it to go on Netflix. Believe me, the wait is worth it. In the first five minutes of the television show, you watch a brief summary of all the events leading to where the producers want you to begin watching. We see a teenager walking alone in the street during the murky night. We assume that this person is the missing child, Adam Warren. Then, the focus switches to ten years ago where we see Adam Warren again, but as an eight year old kid. These flashbacks occur often, which does allow for a good perspective. However, there are certain scenes where it appears this returned boy is indeed a stranger to the …show more content…
The first person, Hank Asher, is a neighbor that was easily accused of the murder of Adam Warren since he is a registered sex-offender. Except there is another person who seems to fit the shoe. The show, however, does not reveal his name. In a recent episode he destroyed some evidence that would appear to link him to Adam. Again, it seems obvious who the kidnapper is, but we don’t know the full story yet. A good thing to remember when watching “The Family” is that not everything is how it appears to be, as there are many twists. I can agree that all of these factors make into a successful plot twist, which the producers are going

As a young child growing up in Canada, I didn't ever really understand the political satire that Rick Mercer was talking about on television. Who was Stephen Harper? What did being Prime Minister really mean? What I did know, nevertheless, was that he was funny. Canadians young and old know this, and that is one of the reasons why his largely popular show, The Mercer Report, is still running after 13 seasons.
