The B-24’s were also very prone to fire, so if the flak hit them, they would burst into flames and fall to the ground in a smouldering ball of fire. It was also very uncomfortable for the crew members. It was very cold, and only small heaters were placed in. Most gunners had to sit on the ground which was also very cold. It was very awkward for all the crew members in the plane to walk around in all of their equipment on in the plane, and very often crewman would run into equipment in the plane.

There has been lots of talk about the future of A-10 thunderbolts II and F-35 lightings II replacing them, a jet that can do it all or a jet born for a more specific yet critical mission. Body: There are lots of different jets with lots of different roles in the air force. The f-35 lighting II is a stealth multi role fighter aircraft that is currently is in finale testing stages and is not in service yet. But it will serve the air force, the marines, and the navy each having their own variant of the plane. The plan is to have the most advanced stealth fighter jet in the U.S arsenal for any situation.

The wright brothers affected the evolution of aviation in a multitude of ways that established the guidelines and kick started the progress of heavier-than-air aircraft. By designing and creating the “flying machine” the Wright brothers were able to make history. Starting from the basic shape of the fuselage and empennage, our airplanes are still modeled in this manner. Not only were they the first ones to create it, they found the most aero-dynamic and functioning ways at the time to make their contraption. Over a 100 years later and with all the technological progress we still base of our most complicated research of their initial designs and ideas such as the cable operated flight controls.
Before I started playing War Thunder I thought the USA had the best aircraft. I found this not to be true for the start of world war 2. I was flying my P-26-34 in a realistic battle. I had just encountered my first enemy of the battle. My plane, the P-26, had only two guns that were prone to jamming before killing enemies.
