What’s the cheapest adventure you’ve ever had?If you had only $10 to plan an adventure, where would you go,what would you do,and who would you take with you? You might think that in order to have a great adventure it needs to be big and expensive but it doesn’t have to.All you need is a place to have it at,the things you're going to do to make your adventure happen.Last of all you need the people that you're going to take to the adventure which would probably be the people you love and care about. As I had said your adventure doesn’t need to be expensive it can be great with just $10 dollars.Let’s say that you went to an expensive place with people you don’t really like. Then you also go on a adventure at the park and have the greatest time ever. You enjoyed the cheap adventure so much more than you did the expensive one because you had fun and shared it with people that you like.So you ended likeing the adventure at the park even though it was less expensive but you enjoyed it with the people you like.

Despite critics’ attacks on Chris McCandless as a commendable person, Chris McCandless is an admirable figure to look up to as he shows that taking risks can be beneficial. During McCandless’s trip, he meets with a wide variety of people he get well along with. He has a great time during his adventure and gains a lot of experiences even though he is living a simple life where he doesn’t live with a vast amount of wealth. Kayt Sukel of Fox News quotes, “...helping individuals gain the priceless experience they need to make smarter, better decisions. And within these risks are the very kind of opportunities that can, ultimately, make us happier, healthier, and more successful in reaching our long-term goals… ”
For only $200 I will be able embarking on a guided wildlife tour throughout the Teton Range. This trip is all about the wildlife so I can’t forget to bring my camera along. We will be searching for those famous western mammals in every cowboy movie ever released. I hope to spot bison, moose, eagles, coyotes, and wolves. This will be a great experience to see these animals away from the big screen and away from human civilization.
The thing that I was struck by on the trip was the fact that the kids knew that they could only go so far and what they could and couldn’t do. Going into the trip I thought we were going to have to tell them what to do and keep reminding them the whole time. Watching the kids in nature really reminded
The story of Chris McCandless has become a pop culture phenomenon. Many are fascinated by his desire to abandon his family and society and “walk into the wild” (Krakauer 69). Newscasts, magazine articles, movies, and books have tried to define what motivated him to give up everything for his Alaskan odyssey; however, the answers died with McCandless. People make assumptions about him without knowing his entire story. McCandless chose to do the unconventional, making people think he was either foolish or brave and determined, but ultimately he was justified for doing what he did.
The Hero’s Journey consists of multiple stages that a Hero must experience throughout a story. A Hero will first be introduced in The Ordinary World through their eyes, so that the readers may be able to relate to him and understand his problems and urges. Before the story can progress any further, there is usually a Central Dramatic Question, or a problem, that upsets the balance of The Ordinary World. Because the balance of The Ordinary World is disrupted, the Hero is then presented with The Call to Adventure. Although the Hero has a responsibility to accept this Call to Adventure, they may Refuse the Journey because of fears and insecurities.
Compositional techniques have been used within the prescribed text to express memorable ideas. Martel has explored various themes in his novel ‘Life of Pi’ (published in 2001), such as reality versus fiction, and the power of storytelling. The story tells of a 16-year-old boy, Pi Patel, who is recounting his 227 days stranded on a lifeboat with an adult Bengal tiger to a fictitious author “writing” the story. The author’s use of allegory throughout the novel is highly developed and effective. An allegory is a representation of a complex idea through more concrete forms.
After years of waiting and preparing we started on the journey to the west. We made our way to Independence, Missouri to go on the Oregon Trail which was laid by traders and trapers. While there I became familiar with George Wilson who was also a working family man. A lot of families left together making the trail busy and causing jams..
The trip I researched was the hunting trip to South Dakota. I want to go to South Dakota because there are a lot of ducks in South Dakota. I know a few people that live in South Dakota and they shoot a lot of ducks. I would probably only take one person and that one person would be my dad. The reason I would take my dad is because he was the person that got me interested in hunting.
I had asked God to show me His love for me like if He needed to prove it. In my questioning and in my doubts, I made it seem as if I didn't trust Him. He took my hand and led me to a crowded street. I could barely see through all the crowd.

Authenticity is defined as being genuine in nature. Catawba’s core values of scholarship, character, culture, and service can only be achieved if one is authentic with themselves. My most authentic experiences came from my three years of service with the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department (JFRD). Those three years exposed me to the real world and helped me discover who I am and who I want to be in the future. From a young age, I always had an interest in fire fighting.
Four years ago we went to Disney World just my family and me, we had so much fun that we decided we would go again in four years. We started planning the next trip almost immediately; we were all so excited to go back. It was not going to be just us this time; my aunt and uncle’s family would be coming with us this time. I remember waiting those four years, and they felt like forever. When it finally came time to start packing (three days in advance) we made sure to prepare for what we did not last time.

What made it even more memorable was the fact it was my first time to go to a foreign country to help other people build houses.
