This is mainly due to the fact that as the world continues to grow older so does the spirit of competition among people. The world is changing in a major way because people want tasks to be done faster and accurately. The trend of striving to be the first to get their work done has made the computer to be held as the greatest tool known to man. COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ITS VARIOUS FIELDS Despite what its name implies, Computer Science is not just the study of computers. Rather, Computer Science deals with problem-solving with the use of step-by-step instructions called algorithms (Miller). Computer science is such a vast subject with various fields and disciplines like programming languages, databases, web applications, and the internet. In a way, Computer Science has influenced the lives of nearly every person on the planet.
