Nowadays, we live in a globalized world in which our habits have been changed drastically due to the introduction of new technologies. Sometimes we can have some benefits from these innovations but, this depend from our necessities. One of these is the E-book or electronic book invented by Michael Hart in 1971. It is “a book that is published in electronic form, for example on the internet or on a disk, and not printed on paper” (Cambridge Dictionary Online) . Indeed, the aim of this essay is to emphasize the positive and negative aspects of the E-book. There are some several reason why people like an E-book: mobility , saving time, convenience, and ease-of-use. First of all , people enjoy a digital book because they can bring it everywhere thanks to the lightweight and the small dimension. Indeed , anyone can carry an entire library in own pocket and in every moment you can read or browse it. Even if a negative point of the E-book is that you need a special device to read it. Nowadays, there are a large amount of models of appliances available on the market depending on the preferences of costumers. Some types are cheap and simple to use while exist some models more expansive but with additional features. This depend on the use of the costumer but a persist problem is the duration of the battery of a device because the reader need to charge it repeatedly in order to read a book.
