What is globalization? Is it good, bad or inevitable?
Globalization is coming together of people, countries and companies, who use information technology to share or exchange goods, services and information. Technology is an important tool used in today’s globalization. The use of computers, mobile phones and the internet play a major role for communication. There is collaboration between nations of the world, multinational companies and people in the area of technology, economic development, agriculture and even exchange of manpower.
The good parts of globalization are many, one good example is the area of technology. Nations of the earth now share technology. For example, china helped Nigeria to build space satellite which was launched into the space from xichang satellite centre in china and they also trained Nigeria scientist. The contract was signed in 2004. With cooperation in space technology with countries like United Kingdom, China, Russia, and Ukraine, Nigeria was able to build her own satellite in 2011 using indigenous scientist. The satellite was launched into space by from Russia space station. Trades and investments is another good side of globalization. Nigeria trade her crude oil with other countries of the world and money earned was used to develop her infrastructures.
Industrialization in the developing countries is another good side of globalization as jobs were created in the developing countries. This is just to mention a few.

Globalization in the past 80 years has connected our world exceptionally well compared to the years before. Just under 80 years ago, when World War II ended, people saw an opportunity to grow together and learn from past mistakes. Globalization has brought the world together which has caused poverty rates to go down, work systems to become stronger leading to more accessibility, and overall life expectancy to increase. Globalization has forever changed the ways of the world and will continue to benefit people by bringing us together to become one substantial world. Globalization has benefited our world involving the decrease in poverty rates.
The mother countries benefited a lot from this. The mother countries needed resources to make more materials like textiles and food products. Some resources they might have taken is gold or oil from places like South Africa that are filled with those materials. This was very helpful and many people benefited. Some people might argue and say that natural resources were exploited.

Globalization is a process of interaction and integration among the people, companies, and governments of different nations, a process driven by international trade and investment and aided by information technology. This process has effects on the environment, on culture, on political systems, on economic development and prosperity, and on human physical well-being in societies around the world. The most common example of globalization might be Ebay or Amazon. Nowadays flows of goods and services are not only cheap and fast, but reliable and secure.
Globalization is a massive thing that affects every person on the planet in one way or another. This source raises the argument that globalization is a disease that harms people in more ways then it helps and needs to be stopped before it wipes out the human race. This raises a good point is some ways because globalization does harm humans in many way such as losing jobs due to outsourcing and the people who get the outsourced jobs are put into horrible working conditions and underpaid without benefits. But it also helps in some ways with trade and communication strengthening the relations of countries. I do agree with the source that globalization harms many people but not quite to the extent that the author goes to, I think that
I. INTRODUCTION a. BACKGROUND: Globalization is a process of interaction and integration among the people, companies, and governments of different countries, a procedure compelled by international trade and investment, and supported by information technology. Furthermore, this process has an effect on various other systems such as on the environment, culture, political systems, economic development and prosperity and lastly, on human physical well-being in societies around the world. “Since 1950, for example, the volume of world trade has increased by 20 times, and from just 1997 to 1999 flows of foreign investment nearly doubled, from $468 billion to $827 billion” (York, 2016). Technology has been another primary driver of globalization,
Introduction Nowadays people can communicate easily. They can share their ideas, their cultures even with people who are not in their countries. They can trade, transporting products around the world in just a few days. This is a big economy where everything related to each other. This is globalization.
Information can be accessed easily and freely through the internet, mobile phones, television and other devices. Globalization has increased the economic right for people worldwide especially in the developed world. There has been an increase in the standard of living of many people hence healthy lifestyles. However in my opinion, globalization has done more harm than good to the people of the world especially people in the developing world.
Another things that made African states not to benefit most in the trade is that, they export raw material or minerals because they lack means to process those raw material into finished goods and services. Therefore, those raw materials that are being exported, the African states import them back as manufactured and finished goods and they import them at higher cost compared to the profit they received when exporting
Nowadays, in the light of the development in technology, especially in transportation and media, trade and communication has increased rapidly among countries. This trend is called globalization. Generally speaking, globalization has its own advantages and disadvantages. The development in international trade and communication has created employment and opportunities for millions of people, but it has also made poor countries poorer. In my opinion, globalization has both positive and negative aspects.
Introduction Globalization is a fact of Economic Life – Carlos Salinas De Gortari. Globalization is not a new thought. This process of interaction and integration among the companies, people and government of different countries is happening from ages. Technology has been the major driver of globalization. Economic life has been transformed dramatically by the advances in information technology.
