• Convenience – In today’s world managing our home is possible via home automation. Whether we are at home or outside. It allows us to turn alarms on or off via our smartphone, or control multiple audio and video devices with just one click. If we want a bit less hands-on, we can easily fix timers to turn lights on and off, turn the temperature up and down or practically anything else we can think of. For example – envision arriving home every evening to complete comfort. The thermostat has already been attuned to match the cool night temperatures flawlessly. We sit down and touch one button on an advanced remote that turns on our satellite TV, triggers our favourite channel and launches our most used audio present on our surround sound system. Really captivating.
Security – Security these days is a major issue, we often forget to lock our doors and sometimes are not certain that we took care of all the windows and doors. Peace of mind is everything, which is hard to achieve it when we are away from home for prolonged periods of time. But what if you could watch live security camera feeds on your smartphone or laptop while on vacation? Or get alarm alerts immediately? Or turn your security system off if a friend needed to drop by or if backyard critters triggered it too many times? Or have your garage door shut itself if you forgot to close it? Home automation has made this all possible.
