Online Risks When has Internet been a benefit? Most of the time it is. You can play games, you can communicate, you can do all sort of things. Moreless it is a new digital world. However, just like in the real world, there are people that are bad. These people are people who only want the worst for you and they only want to steal your money, could be mean to you, get your personal information, they can make you buy fake things and make you download illegal or pirated things. Online shopping might be useful for things that you want that are not available where you are. It also might help you if you work in a company, but it also has its downsides. As www.Forbes.com tells us, fake reviews can lead to buying fake things and other products that are actually bad merchandise. An example is if you download “cheats” for a game it might just be a way to spread a virus. Griefing also can be bad. A major risk that can cause harm is becoming addicted and not wanting to stop which can lead to death because of dehydration and starvation. Downloading anything can actually cause downloading a pirated and illegal copy of the game. There are not only good people out there. In conclusion, internet can be a great thing but as you can now see, it has cruel things just like in the real world. If you ask why, it is because people are in control of their own internet users and if those people are bad in the real world they will use the same negativity on the internet. Now in my point of view, I believe that internet is not a bad place. You can learn you can do anything. But it is because of bad people because it is a bad place. So why not people who dont want to harm have their own internet and people who do want to harm
