Selain itu, dengan kehadiran etnik-etnik maka terdapat kepelbagaian adat, budaya, bahasa dan juga persefahaman agama yang berlainan. Kemakmuran Malaysia pada hari ini bergantung kepada kekuatan hubungan kaum yang wujud dalam kalangan etnik-etnik di Malaysia. RIMUP adalah Rancangan Intergrasi Murid Untuk Perpaduan. RIMUP telah pun dilaksanakan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia di peringkat sekolah pada tahun 1986. Usaha menilai semula keberkesanan yang diadakan menerusi seminar-seminar dan kursus-kursus yang dilaksanakan.ia memberi fokus baru sejajar dengan perkembangan semasa termasuk kesepadanan dengan gagasan 1 malaysia.Sebanyak lima belas resolusi dilaksanakan untuk mengukuhkan perpaduan kaum menerusi pendidikan. RIMUP membincangkan iga kerts kerja iaitu strategi perpaduan Negara oleh JPIN , program intergrasi. kesejatraan negara. Tidak dapat dinafikan bahawa pelasanan RIMUP daripada aspek dominen dapat menyumbang kepada integrase nasional. melalui programe mentor-mentee yang melibatkan guru dan murid daripada pelbagai kaum dapat meningkatkan lagi perpaduan nasional.
