Andreas Kaplan and Michael Haenlein define social media as “a group of internet-based applications that build on the ideological and technological foundations of Web 2.0 and that allow the creation and exchange of user-generated content.” In web 2.0 terms, social media is a website that is interactive and responsive by not giving information only but interacts with the users while giving the information.

Some efforts may seem ineffective as some views are censored, some are spun and some are left untouched. People should be aware of the real situation to prevent them from being influenced by the spin and lies.
