2.2 Biofuel
Generally, biofuel is an alternative fuel to replace the use of gasoline fuel that we practiced in our cars currently. The biofuel produced from living organisms like plants and microalgae that more easy to find the sources and be process compare with the gasoline fuel that required a great deal of money and cannot be renewed as it depends on the fossil fuels from decomposed plants and animals that have been laid to rest in the earth for million years ago. Biofuel basically can be delineated as a fuel that takes energy from carbon fixation, a changeover process from the carbon dioxide of living organisms to an organic compound. Use of biofuel becoming so important days by days in the world, especially to car consumers as they need cheaper fuel, but effective and give big boost to the car operation to the maximum degree. And then, it didn't surprise at all as the world production of biofuel in 2007 was roughly 68 million liters and the numbers continues to ascend until the yield of biofuel reached to 105 billion liters in 2010. In the same year, a biofuel successfully provided 2.7% of the world’s fuels for road transport and the next year, a mandate was passed on to the more than 31 countries to blending biofuels at the national level and the same mandates were given to the more 29 states or provinces. The International Energy Agency aims to see more than a quarter of world demand for transportation fuels with biofuel by 2050 to reduce dependence on oil and coal. (1)

Those three aspects can be the response towards the world concerns if the utilization of gasoline fuel in a car continues in the future without any other alternative fuel to substitute it.

Proposition P================ Propostion P was advanced by an advocacy group known as the Santa Barbara Water Guardians, mainly to prohibit the usage of hydraulic fracturing (i.e fracking) within Santa Barbara, threatening its water supply. As such, Proposition P is absolutely essential, not only to ensuring the health of residents in Santa Barbara, but to ensuring long term social, economic, and environmental stability. Where opponents to Proposition P may tend to make arguments which solely favor the number of jobs in the community, or which perhaps presume the importance of the oil industry in Santa Barbara, over other concerns in the community, these other concerns need to be considered more fully in order to illustrate why support of Proposition P is absolutely essential.================
What do a tomato, soybean and a french fry have in common? They are all some of the most commonly genetically modified foods sold on the market today. By using the genetic information from one organism, and inserting or modifying it into another organism, scientists can make food crops stay fresher, grow bigger, and have the crops create their own pesticides. Nevertheless, the technology to modify genes has surpassed its practicality. Genetically modified foods need to be removed from everyday agriculture because of the threat they pose to human health, the environment, and the impact on global economy.
[The green revolution during the 20th century was the boom I will culture that was the result of human determination to break out of a food crisis.] The Green Revolution was caused by technological innovations, human want for food, and human want to escape status and class distinctions. Some consequences of his cousins were large economic effects, less hungry and more hard-working poverty, and let's class distinctions. The Green Revolution was caused by new technological innovations that resulted in severe environmental effects.
Organic Food In the society where people are getting more concerned about one 's health organic food has become a widely spread and followed by many people tendency. Organic food is believed to have better impact on person 's well-being and not to cause harm to people and the surrounding world due to its ecological nature. The debate that has been recently developed around this topic cannot be solved easily since both supporters and their counterparts provide reasonable arguments supporting their positions. However, to get into the problem and find the answer to a question that concerns many people it is necessary to identify organic food at first.
A lot of people love to hear about energy efficient and environmentally friendly options out there. The electric vehicles today serve great benefits in keeping emissions down and using a more friendly alternative energy source. In my opinion they have made an impact on the environment, but a major benefit in using this alternative resource is less cost to fuel the vehicle. Gasoline is very expensive today, and using the energy that is used to power our home, is much less expensive and more available than gas. The environment, as claimed by environmentalists, suffers due to the emissions of automobiles today.
The amount of plastic products that ended up in the ocean as of 2015 are quite high. How high you may ask yourself? No not 1 million but 9 million tons of plastic waste laid in the ocean as of 2015. Who could be responsible for most of this plastic in the ocean? Surprisingly its china, they are responsible for 2.4 million tons per year.
The Controversy on Agricultures Mankind has gone through numerous changes that have defined life today. Humans have developed technology and discovered resources that are essential to ones everyday life. Some of the changes weren’t for pleasure but vital to survive on Earth. These changes may not benefit humans but allow us to survive: agriculture. Jared Diamond explains in the article “The worst mistake in the history of the Human Race” stating that “…the adoption of agriculture, supposedly our most decisive step toward a better life, was in many ways a catastrophe from which we have never recovered.”
Imagine walking through a building that is crammed from wall to wall with thousands of chickens, making so much noise because of how little room they have to move around. “Corpses that have been in the cages for so long that their bodies have become mummified” (Humane Society of the United States). Walking on a floor that is caked with so many flies. Seeing the unsanitary location where the food you serve your family is coming from. You have just walked through a factory farm.
The reduction of carbon emissions to the atmosphere, the cost of maintenance and refuelling and the safety of electric vehicles are surely convincing rationale for us to make changes. So, we all know that majority of people commonly utilise fuel, oil or LPG as a
What is fractional distillation? Fractional distillation is a method of separating miscible liquids using heat. This technique is used for the separation of liquids which dissolve in each other. Several simple distillations are completed during fractional distillation using only one apparatus.
It is commonly known throughout human history that the energy used is burned from coal which creates biomass. During the Industrial Revolution, coal was an essential need to everyone, hence the discovery of oil as a substitute. Yet, the mass formation from the unearthing of oil causes more damage than benefits for the planet. Humanity had never seen a more compatible source in which came a higher demand for oil. As the public has urged to generate more oil, scientists theorized that fossil fuels will eventually run out, making way for a renewable energy route in the future (Mason).
The world is experiencing a dilemma today. Many people suffer from hunger, malnutrition, and other problems caused by the lack of sufficient food. However, many other people buy or order excessive foods and waste a lot. In my community, food waste is much more serious than food shortage, and it is easy to see that people throw foods in the dustbin and the foods indeed are still eatable. Food waste is a serious problem.
Global Warming Imagine a world where your house is as deserted just as the town you once lived in, also you have states that are touching water will probably be under water. A world were the air is so hot that it can hurt your throat just breathing. I am a Floridian and love the heat, but I hope that my generation does not have to go through global warming. Global warming is when “The earth’s surface becomes warm and as a result emits long-wave ‘infrared’ radiation”(Maslin
2.1 INTRODUCTION Non-Renewable Resources are resources that have the potential to be used up due to consumption or overuse, they have production, development or replenishment rate that cannot match up with the depletion rate. In short these are resources that can be finished, output exceeds input, and they are infinite. Non-Renewable resources vary from non-renewable fossil fuels like coal, natural gas and oil, non-renewable alternative energy sources like nuclear energy and deep-earth geo-thermal energy, soil, and minerals (Botkin & Keller, 2012). These non-renewable resources range from a few years, up to thousands of years to replenish. The local as well as global challenge, is that most non-renewable resources are directly exploited by humans and their existence is widely threatened were usage
