1.0 Introduction
Nowdays, there are many Islamic banks in Malaysia which provide the Islamic contract.
There are three major types of Islamic contract such as participating contracts or contracts of profit sharing, trading contracts (immediate payment and deferred payment) and supporting contracts.
In this assignment, I will discuss about the contract under trading which is istisna’ contract. Istisna’ contract has been offered by many Islamic banks such as Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, Maybank Islamic Berhad, RHB Islamic Bank, Bank Muamalat and etc.
In practice, the advantage of an istisna’ contract is that it can provide flexibility to the customer, where payments can be made in instalment linked to project completion at delivery or after

KAILI HONG PER.3 THE ISLAMIC EXPANSION The early Islamic empire expanded in a couple of ways. One of the ways was the war. I found this evidence in document A where it says that the Muslims to fight gathered together to fight the Greeks. The Greeks would tie each others foots to each other so none of them would escape during the war.
Many if not all civilizations during the time of the early Islamic world were heavily involved in trade. Muslim traders between the 600th and1400th centuries used some new and borrowed ideas to become trading and commerce innovators. Islam differed in many ways with Christian religions of the East. One of which was that Muhammad, being a business man himself, promoted the idea of making profit on trade.
The Islamic Empire was huge, large, and untied. The early Islamic empire expanded by fiercely attacking and conquering other lands, as well as uniting them. To start off, In Document A (which is reliable because it happens to be written by Muslim historian Ahmad al-Biladuri in the 800s) it talks about how they killed 70,000 people. Even girls helped in creating a bloodbath which shows how fierce and strong they were on a battlefield and how they easily took more lands.
Slavery had a key role in the cultures of Muslim and European people. The documents provided, after being analyzed, tell that the thoughts about slavery from each culture were different. The documents also state that the reasons for the differences in the opinions about slavery were because of religions and basic cultural ideals. Nevertheless, there were some similarities between their slavery. One of the most important is the social status of the slaves.
The crusades were a huge thing in the medieval times. They lasted for hundreds of years and people believed it was their religious duty to fight, because they thought it would please God. They were also promised access to heaven, by the pope. The crusades involved three main religions Christianity, Judaism and Islam. I believe that the muslims were more to blame for the crusades, because they posed the first threat, and because they killed and sold many into slavery.
During the 600’s, Islam began to spread fast throughout the region, but they’re many reasons why Islam is still around today and has been successful in gaining followers since then. But why did it spread so fast? It could be because of the followers Muhammad had, and the routes that Islam traveled on that it became the phenomenon that it is today. Why is it a well known religion today? The devoted followers are the base of the answer.
Islam is a religion, so how do you think it came about. Well because of trade, military conquest, and political order. All of these subjects are why Islam spread so quickly. In document A, the passage was talking about trade. During 570, in the Middle East Islam spread so quickly through trade.
There are roughly 1.8 million muslims in our world today. How did this happen? How is 24% of our world’s population based on Islam? In the year 610 CE, a young merchant trader went to pray and heard the words of Allah from the angel Gabriel. After some resistance, Muhammed decided to spread the words and the birth of Islam began.
Mali was an Islamic kingdom during the Middle Ages in West Africa. This was caused by Principle of Culture 9 (“Culture is changed by inside and outside forces.”) This was because outside forces or traders would come to trade and tell them about Islamic ways. An inside force that changed them was a king named Mansa Musa who was the first king to push Islam and its culture in Mali. Mali was Islamic because the people of Mali valued the religion and Mali was influenced by Islamic architecture and arts.
