The introduction of laptops in the teaching of Mathematics and Science in English under the Teaching and Learning of Science and Mathematics in English Programme (Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran Sains dan Matematik dalam Bahasa Inggeris, PPSMI) has been implemented by the Ministry of Education since 2003 (Chong Chee Keong, Sharaf Horani and Jacob Daniel, 2005). The use of ICT is the one of the ways that can be used by teachers in helping the students to understand more about Mathematics especially that involve the mathematical problems. Therefore, by using the ICT in Mathematics, the ranking of Mathematics and Science based on Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) and Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) can be risen to a better position and can compete with other high performance country such as United States, Singapore and China. Besides, students nowadays have been exposed to the modern technology such as computer, laptop and internet. So, it is much easier for them to catch up with teacher’s teaching. There are many advantages of using ICT and tools that can be used by teachers but there are also barriers for the teachers to teach Mathematics using ICT. One of the advantages of using ICT is ICT can save time in teaching-learning process.
