3. Mainframe computer system
It is a large, fast, and one of the powerful computer systems. For example, mainframe can process thousands of million instructions per second (MIPS) easily. Mainframes can also have large primary storage capacities and store enormous data. Mainframe computer system’s main memory capacity can range from hundreds of gigabytes to many terabytes of primary storage. Mainframes have slimmed down drastically in the last few years, dramatically reducing their air-conditioning cooling needs, electrical power (KWhr) consumption, and floor space requirements and thus their acquisition and operating costs. Most of these improvements are the result of a move from cumbersome and problematic water-cooled mainframes to a newer air-cooled technology for mainframe systems.
Thus, in this way mainframe system continues to handle the information processing needs of major corporations/firms and government security and bureaucrat’s agencies with high transaction processing volumes or complex computational problems. For example, major international banks, airlines, oil, chemical companies, and other large corporations process millions of sales transactions and customer inquiries each day with the help of large mainframes systems. Computer usually housed in a controlled and stable environment,

It’s maintained in a special room or environment because of the heat generation from the panel and it is 50,000 times faster than a microcomputer. It is the most powerful computers in terms of performance, data compilation and data processing. These are specialized and task specific computers generally used by large organizations and corporates. These computers are also used for research, analysis and exploration purposes, like European administrative space and NASA uses supercomputers for launching space rockets/ shuttles, controlling them and for space exploration
Not only will these innovations improve network strength, but possibly the speeds at which a client can access information from an application server. This has the potential to make cloud computing even more prevalent than it already is today because it would become easier to keep up with mass traffic to the servers. Large server banks would be able to be downsized slightly compared to their current sizes. The computer science techniques used in created Marple show that it is possible to even make an old process useful in modern applications. The hardware of Marple is also programmable making it extremely useful for any network engineers because they will be able to write custom software for Marple-based
HPC uses several parallel processing techniques to solve advanced computational problems quickly and reliably. HPC is widely used in sciatic computing applications like weather forecasting, molecular modeling, complex system simulations, etc. Traditional supercomputers are custom made and very expensive. A cluster, on the other hand, consists of loosely coupled of the-shelf components. Special programming techniques are required to exploit HPC capabilities.
The processor is faster, more power efficient, and better equipped for modern computing than any others on the market for a student. Along with the Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR4 for its RAM, it will be able to run several programs

Components Computers have one or a lot of big or small R-A-M chips inside. RAM chips are a random access memory chip inside, the computer uses it to store information that will be used anytime or used to store something like the copy clipboard(The copy clipboard is the thing that stores what you copy to paste later) to delete/change later. There is also a spinning or solid state hard drive that uses DVD like disks that stores information like your video games, pictures, or other things. A CPU is the thing that your computer uses to do all the processing work, like our brain but not like it. CPU stands central-processing-unit.
It is probably capable of supervising the entire U.S. air-defense apparatus while simultaneously processing the tax return of every resident of Ohio. I use it mainly to write a newspaper column... This is absurdly simple work for my computer. It sits there, humming impatiently, bored to death, passing the time between keystrokes via brain-teaser activities such as developing a Unified Field Theory of the universe and translating the complete works of Shakespeare into rap. In other words, this computer is absurdly overqualified to work for me, and yet soon, I guarantee, I will buy an even more powerful one.
RAM- Ram (random access memory) is a type of volatile (meaning it needs power to maintain data) memory that can have any byte accessed directly at any given time. The hard drive temporarily loads data for programs that are open into the ram because it can be accessed by the

The system uses 32 megabytes of memory to function. The BIOS on the system is accompanied by a 256K flash memory. There also is a Pentium MMX 266 Megahertz processor within the system. The searchable product number of the PS10 Powerstation with Touchscreen Monitor is PS10-3.
And a computer system can be divided into 4 components: the operating system, the application programs, the uses, and the hardware. Without operating system we cannot use the computer. Booting Process To start the boot procedure, turn on the PC. This is known as a frosty boot.
We are the technological future of our generation. America has given us great gifts. Like technology, with smart phones, smart watches, and laptops. It has changed America so much, especially with phones. You can get so many things done with just a tap of a finger.
Air Canada outsourced 95% of their IT services to multiple suppliers. This caused problems to the airline because if there is any problem with the outsourced system, it cannot be solved quickly. To deal with this problem, Air Canada assigned IBM to act as an integrator in which they had to integrate new applications with the existing applications. Even if IBM acted has an integrator, they were unable to fix major problems quickly. Some problems were very complicated to be identified which depends on the number of vendors involved in developing the system.
Essentially, a quantum computer is not going to replace your laptop. Quantum computers are extremely task specific, meaning that even with IBM’s gate-based approach, those ultra-high processing speeds will only work best on certain types of problems.7 Qubits are very unstable particles; to be used in a computer, they have to be kept at a temperature just a fraction of a degree above absolute zero while shielded from nearly all light and Earth’s magnetic field.7 Even the smallest vibration could disrupt their state. Consequently, quantum computers’ extreme operating conditions confine their use to large research companies or data centers instead of common households, at least until new technology is developed. In accordance with their cumbersome conditions, the fragility of qubits means they also produce a lot of error.7 Some experts estimate that checking the results of one qubit will require 100 additional qubits, meaning that even when quantum supremacy is reached, more qubits are necessary to make the computer truly
1. Define the following terms: GIS; A geographic information system is system made to capture, store, manipulate, analyse, manage, and present spatial or geographical data. FOSS; Free or Open Source Software. FOSS programs have licenses that allow users to freely run the program for any purpose, modify the program as they want, and also to freely distribute copies of either the original version or their own modified version. ILWIS; Integrated Land and Water Information System is a GIS / Remote sensing software for both vector and raster processing.
Technology refers to the use of tools, machines, materials, techniques and sources of power to make work easier and more productive. Apparently, people nowadays cannot live without science technology. There is nothing to puzzle or amaze if the people around the world have a mobile phone. Almost everything around us is the outcome or the wonderful result of technology. Development is closely related with technology.
