There has been continuous debate going over whether short school day has more advantages of disadvantages. Though life is a throughout learning process, but the formal education of a student starts when he reach the age 3. In some countries, there are 5 hours a day in school, whereas others have more or less. The timings of the school should be kept within the optimal limits i.e 5-6 hours a day. This is because the average retention level of the students of approximately 20 minutes and increasing the school timings is not going to bring positive development of the child.
Long study hours tend to create boredom in children; as a result, they lose concentration and focus. They might be sitting physically in the classrooms, but they might not retain or gain anything. But when the school timings are short, they feel encouraged to complete their lessons. Moreover, the education system of the college should be blend of learning and fun. The knowledge should be imparted to kids in such a way that they feel motivated to learn it rather than just giving lessons on

First, schools should start later because many kids are not getting the recommended 8.5 to 9.5 hours of nightly rest. Freedom gives the capability to imagine and create anything your heart yearns. A saying by Anthony Robbins says, “If you do what you've always done, you will get what you've always gotten” (Robbins). You will never be unique if you follow the crowd. This world is changing by the people who take risks to change and shape it. The world is always altering every day, whether it’s a big or small change, so why shouldn’t you?

Many people argue whether school start times should stay the same or become later in the day. Most students already don't get enough sleep during the night and that can affect their learning experience in school (Wahlstrom). However some positive effects can still come from waking up early in the morning and getting to school around the same time. Although good can come from waking up early in the morning and sleeping in, students still need later school starting times to improve their overall health.

It is proven that a four day school week helps academic growth.
Have you ever seen this picture? This picture is a lot more than a poetic protest on media. It is the reality. In the 21st century, the average cost of a human is $90 globally.
Critics of the shortened school week point to the fact that children who are at risk, especially those having learning difficulties may not be able to get the most out of the new program. As it might seem, 4-day school weeks would work best for kids who are self-motivated and would not serve the needs of those who do not learn in the same manner. This means a lessened focus, which can cause grades to drop. It also means that there is a higher cost for parents. Though schoold districts can save money with four day school weeks, it is the other way around for many parents.
True freedom is commonly defined as absolute choice; whether it is in thought, actions or speech, freedom is an individual’s ability to take control of their lives and enables the human experience. Civilization views freedom as an ideal, yet the means of achieving it and whether or not freedom is truly achieved remains ambiguous. There are often individuals in civilized society who struggle and believe themselves to be free after a hard earned victory against oppression. Yet, the implications of maintaining a civilized social structure upon freedom is often overlooked. Many individuals view themselves as free from a subjective standpoint, although true freedom has an absolute meaning.
Implementing Four-Day School Weeks A student spends approximately six hours per day at school, customarily five days per week, not including any sort of extracurricular activities. Students frequently complain about having to go to school for so much time, and not getting much time off. Others could argue that six hours a day and five days a week is necessary to learn all one needs to learn in a school week, this is not necessarily true. However, a school should compensate for lost time by adding time to the end of another day that week if they found this to be an issue.
These things will improve one’s health. In addition to improving one’s health, it is also better for one’s concentration. The average student needs about ten hours of sleep; however, most students, especially teens, only get around seven hours of sleep. If school started later students would be able to sleep in and therefore get more sleep which would increase their concentration in class.
According to the National Sleep Foundation, a nonprofit organization that promotes public understanding of sleep and sleep disorders, starting school later is an adequate way for students to have a better memory, behavior, attention, mood, and executive function. The National Sleep Foundation states “, A National Sleep Foundation poll reported that 28% of teenagers have fallen asleep in class at least once due to lack of sleep. Negative effects of sleep loss include impairments in mood, attention, memory, behavior and executive function… increase in caffeine use… sleep deprived-teens at higher risk of car accidents.” This means that by just adjusting the time by an hour students are more aware of their surroundings, more focused on what they’re learning, have a better mood, and executive function, and it reduces the amount of sugary snacks they have eat or drink to stay awake.
Four-day school weeks have the capability to change student lives. Every school should invest in the four-day school week plan. Implementing this routine would allow teachers more time to teach and give students the option to do their homework during class, in turn creating student success. All of these factors would help to enhance student and faculty life, while promoting success in the classroom. Having a school system run on a four-day rotation would increase their success by offering more opportunities for lesson and work time.
Although this could result in students being in school 30 minutes longer it gives them the opportunity to complete some tasks that would cause them stress later that
Parents should teach their children about freedom. They should limit it. I think when kids reach the teen years you have to pay close to their freedom. Teens would love to go out, and hang with their friends. In conclusion freedom is an individual right that everyone is born with.
