Smart Home automation is a modern technology that modifies home to perform distinctive arrangements of tasks automatically. It sounds futuristic yet today the technological world's main cause is to robotize each conceivable thing to exploit in giving control, mobile phones or even your body to control your house. For example, with the Smart Home automation, people can turn on lamps with just clapping hands. Besides, people can also get ready in the morning instantly because there is an automatic ‘Coffee-Maker’ that makes coffee automatically in an automatic kitchen. Capability to include energy management features through lighting, air conditioning and home appliances is one of the significant advantages of Smart Home to homeowners. In lighting feature, the lights in a Smart Home can be turned on and off automatically based on inhabitant sensor (Attia & Ashour, 2010). For example, the system will open the curtains rather than turning on the lights when a person enters a room in the day time, but at night it would make sure the lights come out and it turned off when no one is in the room thus waste of energy can be preserved. In air conditioning feature, energy can reduced by running a suitable position of temperature sensors and the use of heating and cooling timers so the house can set to turn off air conditionings when no one is in the room. This also help saving cost (Attia & Ashour, 2010). While in home appliance feature, by keeping path of the energy consumption of each and every appliance in the house, Smart Home can be advance in energy management (Attia & Ashour, 2010). The smart house controllers could program the function of heavy power consuming appliances such as dishwashers and electric water heaters to take highest amounts of electric off peak benefit. It can be simply explained as making person’s home a “smart home”, which can be managed using devices and mobile applications. Smart Home automation has revamped security systems comprising of biometrics, cameras, and an alarm system that automatically alerts security agencies. Security is key for the best possible usage and advancement of the home automation systems. Besides, it gives a feeling that all is well with the world to a home's occupants and comforts their brains (Jose & Malekian, 2015). Therefore, Smart homes are highly energy-efficient. Lights that are not being used are automatically switched off and the thermostat is also controlled automatically based on the atmospheric temperatures. Smart home consists of different features that are oriented to individual users of the smart environment. The range of options that can be adjusted for user is wide. In home automation incorporates remote portable control, wearable gadgets, computerized lighting, programmed temperature customizations, energy management, portable or email notifications, streaming media, remote video reconnaissance and considerably more in nowadays drifts (Davidović & Labus, 2016). It will take some time for people to be comfortable leaving so much responsibility up to their home’s system, but in the long run it will be incredibly beneficial
