In lighting feature, the lights in a Smart Home can be turned on and off automatically based on inhabitant sensor (Attia & Ashour, 2010). For example, the system will open the curtains rather than turning on the lights when a person enters a room in the day time, but at night it would make sure the lights come out and it turned off when no one is in the room thus waste of energy can be preserved. In air conditioning feature, energy can reduced by running a suitable position of temperature sensors and the use of heating and cooling timers so the house can set to turn off air conditionings when no one is in the room.
