Career and College Research Paper
Choosing a career can be an immense task for most people. Despite this, I have known what I want to do for a very long time. I have always loved planes and the idea of exploring the expanses of space. Therefore, I feel like aerospace engineering would be the perfect career choice for me. Aerospace engineers design and oversee the production of aircraft. It is important to understand the education or training requirements, skills or talents needed, salary and benefits offered, and the duties of this particular career when making this seemingly impossible decision.
Aerospace engineers usually work long hours in an office because of the necessity of a sophisticated computer. Travel to the job would be easy because aerospace engineers typically work in, or around cities. One major employer of aerospace engineers locally would be Tinker. It is situated right off of I-40 which allows easy access and is not far from Harrah. Knowing that I want to stay close to family, I feel like Tinker would be a perfect place to work.
Aerospace engineers, depending on where they work, can do a wide variety of tasks. For the most part, aerospace engineers oversee the design, testing, and production of machines such as planes, spacecraft, and missiles. Furthermore, there is a business side they have to pay attention to. Aerospace

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, aerospace engineers make an average of $107,830 with the upper ten percent earning over $158,700 per year. Compared to other types of engineering, aerospace engineers average over $10,000 more per year. Compared to other types of engineering careers, aerospace engineers are in the middle of the pack when it comes to income. Some careers such as architectural and engineering managers average $132,800 per year while a few such as industrial engineers only average $83,470. When it comes to money, aerospace engineers are quite
The aerospace engineering in Texas A&M has a vast field of exploration leading to advance technology in space exploration, air transportation, national defense, communication and sustainable energy. The student speaker in the video was proud of their field and were satisfied with the job. Everybody wants a job that makes them happy and that is exciting and enjoyable. The advance technology studies in aerospace engineering are an interesting filed as the technologyis growing day by day and more advance technology will be develop and astound the world. Who knows in 2 or 3 years we will have a flying car and bike?
Everyone has the same purpose. That purpose being to fix, design, or create something for a common goal. This is the usual when dealing with technology and its advancements. I believe that engineers are judged more on their work and abilities than on their appearance which is how it should be in any field. Engineers also can go nearly anywhere and find a job.
As an aspiring engineer this topic is very important to me because I may work in this field when I am older.
In high school, I was a member of the STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) magnet program. I completed the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) pathway and took a wide variety of engineering classes. I also got experience job shadowing’s and explore different activities that prepared me for my future career with activities such as mock interviews and resume writing. During my junior summer in high school, I got the opportunity to intern at a small engineering firm (Infrared Tools LLC) and work side by side with the engineers there getting hands on experience. This past semester I’ve been a student at Virginia Tech as a member of the Corps of Cadets and enrolled in Air Force ROTC.
To start off, I'd like to work as a assistant for Bombardier, an aeronautic company. With this job, I'd have a ride to get to the office and to get back home since my dad works there. I'd also be almost assured to get the job since they prioritize employee's children. Thereafter, my short term objective is to continue with my good grades next year since it will count for my choice of cegep as well as for my career later on.
Despite the numerous engineering programs within the United States, the University of Kentucky College of Engineering remains unique and desirable. Firstly, the University of Kentucky’s academic programs are nationally recognized, a recognition several institutions desire. Faculty members within this prestigious institution provide extensive curricular lessons, allowing me to engage with future worldly respected engineering and corporate firms. As a result, I could participate in important projects that define America’s cultural customs and acceptances. In addition, my goal in protecting innocent lives from treacherous disasters would become real.
While searching for a career pathway on mynextmove.org, I took a test to see suggestions to do with my life. The results of this test were very surprising to me, in my findings the computer generator suggested that a career option that would best fit me would be a job as an airplane pilot. I highly disagree with the suggestion considering I can’t walk in a straight line, let alone learn to operate an airplane. I believe I should stick with my original decision to be a welder, because I’ve enjoyed in the past two years and think it would be a promising career for myself. Even though being an airplane pilot would be interesting job, welding would be the better option for me.
Unless you want to scrape dead co-workers off the teleporter room floor as a permanent profession you need to work on building up your skills. Oh and in case that last sentence has you concerned, Redshirt contains no graphical violence of any kind despite how distasteful some of the jobs may sound. Applying for a hazardous alien waste management supervisor for example requires some medical knowledge, people management, tedious paperwork and humorously enough a reassuring voice. These are all skills that can be picked up by going to certain events but apart from the time wasted doing so they can also detract from other statistics such as your money, health and
We all have different careers that we look into and we all have something we want to be when we are older. Having to pick just one thing that you want to be when you are older is probably the hardest things you have to choose. I was really into the medical field for the longest time so Nursing Assistants is something I look into doing. Also I look into to being a Registered Nurse that was one of my main topic. Being surgeons is also something i would want to do, looking at different things and seeing how much it relates to what I’ve being looking into.
I have not really given this much thought before this essay I guess that is probably not a good idea. Never the less now that I have no other choice I have looked at my options. After I reviewed all options from going to a major educational institution to technical schools to being a custodian I have decided I want to be an electrician. I have derived this conclusion from the taking the following facts into account, salary, benefits, education, travel, and cost of living. Education is very important to all jobs, but especially in a job that can claim your life in seconds.

Careers in Aerospace Engineering states that after four years, the engineer is eligible to advance as a professional engineer if he/she has earned a degree from an engineering program accredited by Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), acquired a passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, and earned a passing score on the Professional Engineering (PE) exam. There are many benefits to advancing in doing the extra work such as a pay increase. Jim Lucas also states “the salary range for a newly graduated aerospace engineer with a bachelor's degree is $52,572 to $73,535. The range for a midlevel engineer with a master's degree and five to 10 years of experience is $73,823 to $114,990, and the range for a senior engineer with a master's degree or doctorate and more than 15 years of experience is $93,660 to $147,582.” Most aerospace engineers typically work in an office, but may work in the manufacturing and testing facilities from time to time if they are needed.

Aircraft Performance Through the chaos and mayhem of World War 2, the aviation industry made significant advancements in its technology. After the war ended, this technology stretched and expanded to the farthest reaches of the world. Frank Whittle of England and Hans von Ohain of Germany both created the world of aviation that we live in today. Both men did it without the knowledge of each other throughout the 1930s and 1940s.
