Academically, Ashaby appears to be an average student, however, if she is given the opportunity and guidance, will capitalize on her abilities to achieve greatness. I was also made aware that the student has some behavioural problems. In addition, the student’s attendance record throughout the last academic year was very inconsistent. I am therefore committing myself to provide ongoing counselling sessions for the student, monitor student’s attendance and if necessary, make an external referral.

Whenever I take on an assignment, whether it is school or work related or anything else for that matter, I always put my heart and soul to it. Many of my friends and teachers would call me over-ambitious, but I do not see that as a negative designation. Something I have learned through experience is that if you want something, you have to work for it. Going to an elementary school with a history of royal children attending, such as our crown Princess Victoria, as well as many talented students, put a lot of pressure on me to succeed. I managed to graduate with straight A’s, and received a scholarship for “excellent study results”, something I am very proud of and still value highly.

We all try to help each other with problems that we have relating to our futures, like looking at colleges and getting good grades through studying together and tutoring each other. At the same time, we help each other have fun and realize that life should be full of quality times with the people you love and shouldn’t always be so serious. I believe that it is important to have friends that care about you because they can help you in all kinds of situations and impact your life
