The day I knew that was once gloomy was now stormy and windy. I tried to calm down, but there was so much going on and I was still in utterly shock from my wound. I tried to make my way up, but I couldn’t. I lied down hoping the enemies wouldn’t notice.
There was no possibility of seeing anyone that day. It was raining. The weather was non negotiable. The people who dared to step foot outside had regretted their decisions to do so. Although I was perturbed by the event, I was glad as well.
One stormy night the Ravenel Family were sitting at the dining table. Kelly, my mom, Jordan my sister, Dave my dad, and me of course. All you could hear the tree 's branches hitting the window, the wind howling to the beat of the rain. There with all that music my parents were whispering very nervously. Then suddenly, the light started flickering, the room darkened nothing was heard but the trees, the wind, and rain.
By the time I actually fell asleep, it was morning. When I next looked outside, the ground was struggling to get rid of all the water. I remember running outside, but I was stuck on the deck; there was too much water. The
Attending Notre Dame excites me because of the school’s rich history and prestige. Travelling to a university where the only person I know is a friend’s ex-boyfriend is scary, but I know I am prepared for this step in my life. Notre Dame is different than other schools because of its Catholic heritage. While I am not catholic, I have attended mass before and have this sector of Christianity to very beautiful and I have developed a great appreciation for it. I would call myself a creative person that enjoys the arts and it excites me that Notre Dame emphasizes the importance of arts in the school, especially after attending a high school where football is everything. He thought he even heard the sound of hushed voices seeping into the night air out of a half-cracked window. The vehicle passed and darkness returned, save for the ever present yellow glow of the damnable streetlight. Philip lay in bed, riveted. Was this it? he wondered.
The night was so cold that it sent a shock through my spine. The night when I arrived at the airport in New York, I knew my new life had begun. My two cousins, my sister, and I sat at the front of the boat, and we would wander back and forth. We were catching up on the years we missed with the great distance being the only obstacle. A few hours went by, and dark clouds crept ominously over the horizon towards us. The gloomy clouds did not phase me, and we kept to our childish games.
In school ball it’s mostly just fun and games but if “the games” have a more important meaning, than a higher level of basketball is something to think about. For a more competitive atmosphere, AAU basketball would be the way to go rather than school ball because of the players, overall atmosphere, and the practices.

I could hear the thunder rumbling as our family stood out on the shoreline waiting for the storm to brew. I remember Aaron looked down at me and said almost out of the blue, “You know what Alissa?
Every single thing went quiet around me even the toddlers screaming to get on their parent shoulders like me. A ginormous castle blocked my view of everything, it was pearl white with baby blue exteriors. My cousin carefully set me off of her shoulders and her jaw dropped. She huddled me my mom and my brother together. My shoes squished form the water in them and my hair was damp.
