On the back of the glove, there is a plastic-covered module housing most of the hardware, but an attachment on the fingertip button protrudes and covers the index finger. The connection between the mouse and the computer CPU is through a small USB 2.0 dongle with a frequency of 2.4 GHz, and a 35-foot range. However, as much as the range is enough to use as a presentation mouse, it might look unusual in front of a large group.
On the attachment of the fingertip button, there are three other smaller buttons, one for pausing motion control while typing, and two other for left- and right-click (Gross, 2009). The feeling while using the buttons is less of clicking a mouse and more of pinching something between the forefinger and the thumb. The other module of the mouse mounts on the backside of the hand. It contains a mini-USB (for charging an internal battery) and an on/off switch. An LED set allows the user to know when the mouse is charging (red), paused (yellow), or powered
