Introduction
Briefly, air pollution is the undesirable presence of impurities in the atmosphere. It can also be defined as the change of the quality of air by chemical, biological, physical agents or gaseous and radiological pollutants in air that have detrimental consequences to human health, living beings, climate, or material goods. According to an article retrieved from https://www.actu-environnement.com/ae/dictionnaire_environnement/definition/pollution_atmospherique.php air pollution is the introduction by man directly or indirectly, into atmosphere and the space substances having harmful consequences which endanger human health, harm breathing, biological resources and

In my community, their presence is due to industries, vehicles, gas-fueled appliances, and coal-fired irons. We cannot ignore the bad state of the engines of our vehicles which serve us at will their black smoke, the use of charcoal and kerosene lamps which also are sources and cause of air pollution in my country. Tobacco smoke is another pollutant for both the air and human being containing noxious substances as nitrogen monoxide, benzene, carbon monoxide, ammonia, hydrocyanic acid, and heavy metals. Indeed, the smoke is very dangerous; it irritates the eyes, nose and throat of people exposed it, increases the risk of lung cancer of non-smokers exposed and the frequency and state of asthma attacks from asthmatics. The smoke also develops respiratory problems, and increases the risk of sudden death from infants exposed to it. The International Agency for Research on Cancer has classified it in 2017 as a carcinogen states the Journal “Le Nouvelliste” in the section entitled “The pollutants of the country” In sum, the tobacco smoke is one of the greenhouse gases involving in global warming and destruction of the atmospheric …show more content…
During this unit, I realized that I could be applied my skills to helping improve air quality in my community. Therefore, nevertheless I must walk instead of taking a taxi or drive a car that provides carbon dioxide. I realized that I could buy energy efficient products too in order to save energy at home, I could also advise people that do not have this opportunity to learn about the environment and how to protect it. I could also show them the importance to produce less pollutants by reducing for example the use of electricity.

Air pollution becomes a very costly environmental problem in terms of human lives and billions of dollars lost for health care spending and damage to crops. It remains an important phenomenon that should concern everyone. Considering its impact on human life such as female infertility, reduction of life expectancy, implication of cancer, and even the end of humanity. This phenomenon should be controlled and take into
Air pollution pervasively impacts humanity as a global society. It results in minimized quality of life and initiates instability within the environment . Air pollution causes extensive detrimental health effects on the residents of Southern California, especially on select sensitive individuals, and has significant adverse impacts on the environment of Southern California. The health of individuals residing within the boundaries of Southern California is steadily tarnished by the destructive qualities of polluted air. The effects of air pollution on the human body over a relatively minimal amount of time are unlikely to have major effects on youthful and healthful individuals.
With more people switching over to Vaping the environment has become cleaner. The smell of Cigarette butts can cause the air around to become Polluted with unhealthy and unsafe toxins for children of young ages. If a child where to breath in the toxins of tobacco it can cause major health problems because their body is not strong enough to fight off such strong toxins. Smoking is a main reason many smokers are obtaining lung cancer from being a smoker for multiple years(Conserve energy). Smoking has carcinogenic particles which is radiation that comes from the cigaret and promotes lung cancer.
However, by articles saying that it does not contain tobacco but nicotine contradicts its self because it will still give the same affect that a traditional cigarette with tobacco.. Although it contains nicotine it seems not to be as harmful as a traditional cigarette would. The long term health results do not seem to show the same symptoms as of a traditional cigarette would
1. Introduction Air pollutin is a public health concern and it has been since the discovery of fire. Incidents and episodes of air pollution have been recorded throughout the history. Air pollution is divided into two, it is the indoor air pollution and the outdoor air pollution. Indoor air pollution is produced in households or at offices by pollutants such as tobacco smoke, household products or pesticides.

Because of the smoke produced from the combustion of tobacco are not perfect. Cigarette smoke contains a number of dangerous substances such as benzene, nicotine, nitrosamines, Amen, aromatic, naphthalene, ammonia, carbon monoxide benzapirin, cyanide oxidant and others. These particles will be deposited in the respiratory tract and it is very harmful to the body. Deposits of cigarette smoke are also easily attached to objects in the room and could last until more than 3 years and keeping dangerous (http://dokita.co/blog/bahaya-merokok-bagi-kesehatan accessed on 25 April 2015). Passive smokers are more dangerous than active smokers.
Worldwide, tobacco use causes about 90% of lung cancer deaths, 30% of all cancers, 20-25% of coronary heart diseases and stroke deaths, and more than 80% of chronic bronchitis and emphysema”. (Jordan 1). Secondly not only does it affect smokers but even people who don 't even partake in the activity of smoking cigarettes. Second hand smoke is a serious issue and can cause cancer almost easy as being an actual smoker can.

1.3 explain how to use resources effectively and efficiently Without effective resources an organisation wouldn’t be able to do the job effectively for example, in my organisation we need to have care assistance to care for every individual which in turn need to be trained to do the job correctly, if we didn’t have a resource in place to cover the training needs we wouldn’t be able to function and care for our service users, this also means we need to have a budget of what we can spend on training, staff are also an important resource as we need to make sure we have enough employees to cover each shifts. There are many ways to use resources efficiently and to minimise and adverse impact on the environment. These include how we organise work activities and the use of resources efficiently understanding their impact on the environment, and finding ways to reduce their negative, and increase their positive impact. For example, by being mindful of waste and extravagance by recycling waste materials, by reusing packaging materials, by using double-sided printing
It affects the health of the human beings and also the environment. Despite having all these negative effects, tobacco is of great economic importance as it creates employment for the citizens. The negative effects of tobacco smoking supersede its positive contributions. Therefore, tobacco smoking should be banned. .
CHAPTER 1 1. INTRODUCTION The air we respire contains mixture of natural and man-made chemical, physical and biological elements that modifies ambient air quality. Among all air pollutants, the most threatening for human health include particulate matter and gaseous pollutants such as carbon monoxide, ozone, nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide (WHO). The movement of people into urban areas and the growth of industry within these areas has carried more people into contact with air pollution than any other time in recent memory.
As per the latest study conducted by the World Health Organization, one billion people smoke worldwide, which constitute about 20% of the entire world population. Cigarette smoking has numerous health hazards however, lung cancer is the most known to generations. Smoking, at the same time, is also responsible for cardiovascular disease and heart stroke. But accelerated aging continues to remain the most ignored and standard side effect of smoking.
As the result of my experience this semester I can conclude that this experience was a life changing experience. The way I viewed things in the past about the environment has changed. In the past I was not aware of the importance of living a more sustainable life. Also, how protecting our environment is one of the today’s most serious issues. Some of issues and information that I learned throughout this semester was the web life, food web, overpopulation, mutualism & commensalism, climate change, pollution, rainforest & sea destruction, and the extinction of many animals and plants.
Goal Intended application This project aims to evaluate the environmental impacts of processed tobacco and cigarette paper production starting from acquisition of raw materials leading up to the product use by the consumer. This life cycle assessment can be used by a hypothetical health organization to educate people addicted to tobacco by underlying in detail the various health and environmental effects caused by cigarette production and consumption. Reason
There are many problems that threatens society and one problem in particular, air pollution is a problem that threatens everyone. Air pollution is the contamination of air with pollutants that are harmful to humans, animals, and the environment. It began to be a problem when humans discovered the uses of fire and then the amount of air pollution exponentially grew after the industrial revolution, and is still a problem even today. The largest causes of air pollution are from human activities such as burning of fossil fuels and gas emissions from manufacturing plants. There are ways that ordinary people can help contribute to prevent air pollution and or else face the dangerous consequences of polluted air.
