In era globalization, many of people are often faced with the problem of air pollution. Air pollution can be said of the pollution the biggest impact on the environment. Due to the air pollution that causes global warming which lead to the incurrence to natural disasters that threaten our planet. Air pollution is the presence of solid, liquid or gaseous particles in the atmosphere, which are not generally present, or are present in higher concentration and have no beneficial effect. it can be classified into two parts, primary and secondary pollution. Primary pollution refers to pollution caused carbon monoxide and sulfur monoxide results from incomplete burning which causes delicate particles accumulated in air. This method is more close to the consumer as possible smokers is a person that is relevant and related with us. For example, family and friends who they are close with us and possibilities for us to criticize or advise him to stop smoking is higher. This is because, smoking is not only harmful to health but also pollute the environment. Cigarette smoke will cause air pollution. So, not just those who smoke that harmed but, people around also feels difficulty in obtaining clean and fresh air. According to the latest statistics on smoking addiction in this country is so formidable when the number of smokers increased to 4.7 million people last year compared to 3.1 million in 2007. Smoking also contributes 25 percent to the fires. This can be seen when they are smoking less sense of responsibility to cast a still glowing cigarette butts all over the place. The fires also cause an increase in carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide, which causes the inhabitants of the earth, will feel the lack of oxygen to breathe and raise the temperature of the earth at the same time lead to various natural disasters caused by human action itself. Thus, the recommendations of the government in carrying out the campaign not want to smoke are encouraged and as consumers, we should cooperate to encourage smokers to stop smoking. Continuous haze adversely affects the health of any group no matter young and old. These adverse effects are at high risk, such as dealing with problems coughing, shortness of breath difficulty breathing, chest pain, skin will itch, runny nose and so on. According Director General of Health, Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, said there was an increase of more than one hundred percent of asthma since the haze crisis. In addition, the increase also occurred in upper respiratory tract infections, namely in Johor at 38.5 per cent and 20.7 per cent of Malacca. Therefore, Dr Noor Hisham reminded the public to reduce outdoor activities or use masks when outside the home. Thus to prevent reduce the occurrence of health problems when the haze, the Ministry of Health recommends to all those to reduce outside activities, even though they have jobs outside the recommended wearing respiratory masks because the air quality is unhealthy. In addition, the Ministry of Health also recommends increasing drinking water, to wash her hands and face when doing outdoor activities and always seek medical advice.
