Introduction

Air pollution can be understood as the phenomenon that occurs when gases, dust particles fume/smoke or odor are introduced into the atmosphere such that it is harmful to humans, animals and plants (eSchoolToday, 2015). Those things that pollute the air are known as pollutants, for example; nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxides, hydrocarbons, sulpur oxides, etc. These pollutants can be classified as primary pollutants, which are gases or particles introduced into the air to make it unclean, for example; carbon monoxides, and secondary pollutants, which is when pollutants in the air mix up with chemical reaction, forming more dangerous chemical, for instance; photochemical. This paper identify the main air pollutants of Cameroon and the possible causes air pollution of this Country. Furthermore, the paper compare the magnitude of air pollution with that of other countries, and also some skills that could be applied in improving the quality of air.

Sulpur dioxide which is another heavy pollutant comes from fuel combustion of electric utilities, industries, and the natural phenomenon such as volcanoes.
