Al Capone was born an immigrant family in Brooklyn. At a young age Capone joined a mob with Johnny Torrio. He quickly grew as a notorious gangster and rapidly built his reputation. (1) He was notorious for multiple brutal killings and making millions off of bootlegging illegal alcohol in chicago. The government tried carrying out many different Investigations on Capone, but never got enough to prosecute Capone. (3)
Al Capone was born on January 17, 1899 as the son of Teresina and Gabriel Capone. Capone was a promising student in school and his family was a simple law abiding family, But where Capone lived sure was influential to him. (1) Capone lived near a shipyard where he saw sailors cuss and fight all the time. Capone was expelled in sixth grade after he hit a female teacher in his catholic student school. (2) Capone shortly after joined Johnny Torrio and the Five Points Gang. Torrio showed capone how to change the nasty gang fighting into a mighty empire for making money. He became a bookkeeper and tried having a somewhat law abiding life, but when his dad unexpectedly died he went back to being a ruthless killer and lawbreaker. Capone prided himself on keeping his temper when things went wrong, but when his fellow gangster and friend Jack Guzik was assaulted, Capone tracked the attacker down and shot him at a bar. To Capone’s luck there wasn’t enough evidence so he was let go by the police. (3) Capone spotted two of his rivals in Cicero and he ordered his gang to gun them down, little did Capone know that William McSwiggin was with them. Capone’s men killed all three men and the city became outraged at the death of William Mcswiggin, but the police didn’t have enough evidence to prosecute Capone so he was set free.
