When you shop at Aldi, the customer has the option to use an Aldi cart, which can only be obtained by inserting a quarter (into the cart lock mechanism) to borrow it. Next, the customer proceeds into the store and fills up their cart with groceries that they need. Customers navigate through different isle ways that correspond to different kinds of food and other grocery items and take what they need. When the customer is ready to check out, they must find an available register and get in line for the checkout process. Customers must purchase bags for their grocery items or bring their own or use available boxes in Aldi to carry their groceries out
