A Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office investigator on Tuesday outlined a motive for the Dec. 12 fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man along State Route 255 in Manila, saying three of the five suspects admitted to taking part in the shooting.

The following voice project will discuss second generation Vietnamese Americans struggling with cultural expectations. In this assignment of exploration of literature, I will be discussing Karin Aguilar-San Juan book Little Saigons: Staying Vietnamese in America. Little Saigons: Staying Vietnamese in America, is a book exploring place-making and identity in Vietnamese American communities. Throughout the chapters the author had a clear argument. She stated that retaining one’s identity in an American immigrant community requires more than simply passing down cultural traditions between generations or remembering the past by retaining one’s language. She suggests that in order to retain their Vietnamese identity, Vietnamese Americans use elements of the physical domain as well as social relationships to reflect and preserve their Vietnamese histories.

Family: Dionisio is a 17 year old Hispanic male who resides in Clark, NJ with his mother, Sonnia Estremera. When CM first received Dionisio’s case Mrs. Estremera reported that youth has difficulties following household rules. She reports that Dionisio needs reminders to complete basic household chores such as throwing out thrash. It was evident that there was a breakdown in communication between Dionisio and his mother. Since Dionisio has been attending family therapy at Trinitas Child and Adolescent Outpatient Department there has been in improvement in youth and his mother relationship. Due to Dionisio non-complaint behavior at Trinitas Child and Adolescent Outpatient Department he was recommended to attend IOP at High Focus Centers in Cranford. Dionisio and his mother continues to address their family challenges in family therapy at the High Focus Center in Cranford. It appears that both Dionisio and Mrs. Estremera are both invested in family therapy. Mrs. Estremera also reports that Dionisio behavior in the home has improved and she is proud of the progress that he has been making so far.

Since the beginning of time in the United States, the idea of the American Dream has had a heavy influence on society. According to Document C, American Dream is defined as earning enough money to be happy, obtaining a worry-free lifestyle, and running in a high social circle. While working Americans still hold on to the hope of the American Dream, individuals from other countries often move to the United States with the hope that they too may have a piece of the pie. Despite the novelty and allure of the American Dream, it is nothing more than false hope. The American Dream is unachievable in the United States because no matter how hard one works or how hard one tries to save money, the American Dream is simply not accessible to those that begin with nothing.

Janice Green was a wife, mother, and community organizer in Perry County, Alabama. Right now she is an inmate sentenced to 37 years in Prison. This narrative is an attempt to explain the story as it was collected from a variety of sources, such as witness interviews, family interviews, released statements, legal sources and good old fashioned research. The CP addressed with Mrs. Navarro about the CP conversation with Dr. Freddie Marton with regards to Tyler’s medication regimen. On 7/9/15 worker made an unannounced visit to the residence of Ms. Bernice Connell, for the purpose of making first victim contact. Ms. Kayley McKinnon, granddaughter-in-law of Ms. Connell greeted worker at the door and showed worker to Ms. Connell 's room. The room was cluttered but did not present with an odor. Ms. Connell was lying in bed watching TV, she was appropriately dressed with good personal hygiene.

Case Citation: Linda Williamson v. The City of Houston, 148 F. 3d 462 (5th Cir. 1998). Facts: Houston Police Officer Linda Williamson was working in the Organized Crime Squad and was sometimes assigned to partner with fellow Officer Doug McLeod. Williamson alleged that over an eighteen month period, McLeod harassed her every day creating a hostile work environment. More specifically, Williamson stated that McLeod conducted obvious and demeaning inspections of her appearance. He made comments to her on how her body looked in different clothes and remarked specifically on the appearance of her buttocks and the size of her breasts. Williamson related that McLeod became bolder and would wedge himself into a cubicle beside her where he could pull her hair, lean over her, breath heavily into her ear, bump, tap or slap her. Secure Dwellings continues to assist homeless children and their female caregivers throughout the state of Alabama and surrounding states. The program is currently serving 10 mothers and 22 children as of this board meeting date. I often wonder how they able to continue live with all of the unfortunate circumstances and experiences that have cause their lives to be in disarray, some situations due to poor choices and sometimes due to no fault of their own.

An emergency call comes in at 9:45 am from Doug Greene. He discloses that his neighbor and recently ended love interest, Anna Garcia, a well developed thirty-eight-year-old hispanic has been skipping routinely morning walks and that the last time he saw her was at 6:30 am on August 13th. Since her dogs were unusually barking, it sparked concern in Greene. The call brought police to Garcia’s home who found her dead lying face down on her entry hallway at 9:56 am. It is 10:20 am on August 14th when police are securing the crime scene. At 11:00 am, the medical examiner was able to approximate Garcia’s time of death at 7:00 am through the Glaister equation after measuring her rectal temperature. A divorced, thirty-eight year old, Hispanic woman, named Anna Garcia, died on August 25, 2015 at approximately 11:00 am. Anna’s best friend and co-worker, Lucy Leffingwell had reported to officials that Anna had been in the hospital, experiencing back pain, radiating towards her sides, Lucy also commenting that Anna told Lucy that she had stopped taking antibiotics that were prescribed to her. At about 9:45 am, Anna’s neighbor named Doug Greene contacted the police reporting that he is worried about his neighbor Anna, explaining to officials that he experienced seeing Anna at at approximately 630 am wearing a sweater while that part of town was experiencing a heat wave recently. On 7-22-2016, I, Richard Reyes was dispatched to a call for criminal trespassing at 12625 Wetmore Rd, San Antonio, TX. at approximately 0800 hours. I arrived on site at 0818 hours, where there were 2 men arguing inside of the class room. I was accompanied by back-up officer Alysha Rosario, we separated the two men from each other and asked the suspect Johnny McGregor to step outside, and the Officer Rosario spoke with him and gathered his story.

The United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit reversed the lower courts approval of the drug checkpoint saying, “the checkpoint contravened the Fourth Amendment” (Cornell University Law School LII, 2000). The United States Supreme Court affirmed that decision stating that the, “checkpoint program was indistinguishable from a general interest crime control” (Cornell University Law School LII, 2000) that violated the Fourth Amendment.
