Instead, if they love each other they could find a way to stop this tension. Acts of violence and hate are never the answer to any problem, yet people seek it just to have fun, show pride, or be gallant. In The Outsiders there was a rumble between the Socs and Greasers to show who’s boss, but after this epic fight nothing changed. All of the Greasers were hurt really bad, the only thing they got for this loss was the Socs being chased out
They did not like the fact that he did not work in accordance to the rules. Because the dislike of colleagues did not match the respect of prosecutors, the instance was dropped. Such a serious crime of scientific fraud ignored and dismissed, for something as childish as coworkers not getting along. This was only the beginning of the the allowance of Fred Zain to do whatever his wanted. It was not only West Virginia that made the mistake of hiring such an inadequate person for the job.
However, we don’t feel they should be exempt from punishment due to their freedom of speech; their posts were gravely inappropriate and offensive. They intentionally discriminated against a group of people; they had no regards to other’s statuses as human beings which in our honest opinion is extremely unethical. Every human being should be treated with respect regardless of their culture, ethnicity, race, gender, etc. Johnny's leadership roles within his school simply doesn’t convince us that he was bullied into discriminating others, so we feel that he too should face the consequences. As a leader he should have known better.
Even while having been raised in this type of racist environment Huck realized he didn’t care what the “sivilized” people thought and he wanted to help Jim. It is also relevant because of the fact that there is still racism around today. It was more of a way of life in Huck’s time but today
This is shown by the quote ‘he could, he could have kept her on instead of throwing her out. I call it tough luck’. This quote is saying that Eric doesn’t care about any other women because he is treating them in the wrong type of manner for example ‘he treats them like they are prostitutes or people of the street’. There is another point that stats ‘Changed by the events in the play’. This is shown by the quote ‘I know I’m to blame – and I’m desperately sorry – but I can’t believe – I won’t believe – it’s simply my fault that in the end she had committed suicide hat would be too horrible’.
He was selfish, everyone else lacked spirit. He embodies selfishness throughout the book; Roark even explains to Gail Wynand that his motive is his own achievement. Near the end of the book Roark goes on trial where he praises selfishness and denounces altruism. He explained that a human’s natural instinct is to be selfish; he uses as an example of a complete egotist the creator. A creator stands alone way ahead of his time, against men; he who has never wanted to serve others whose only motive is his truth, his work done his way, his own achievement.
Before when i would see someone on the street asking for money I wouldn 't give them any, only because I felt they got themselves in that situation they deserve to be where they are. Now that i see when people are in trouble it 's not always because they chose to be. This compares to the Holocaust in such a way that they did not chose to be in these concentration camps, they did not chose to be starved, or worked to death. They were forced to, they were miserable knowing in their minds that death can take its next victims any
They are just selfish, idiotic and heinous. What am I saying...no wonder they 're not my friends anymore. I should have never done that, why did I do that?! What I did and said was very malevolent and bitter. I don 't even know why I 'm mad at my words and actions.
Peds do not just only effect you they affect your family and friends too. In the long run it is never worth it to use PEDs not even one time. The effects are just to much for it to be worth it. There are just to many awful things that come with the use of peds and to me it just outweighs the perks. Peds are never worth it not in any way.
I think utilitarianism basically means that doing what is right should be placed above all else. In Barnard Madoff case he stood against everything utilitarianism stood for. An example would running an illegal ponzi scheme he was not thinking about how the people he was taking money from were feeling he wanted it all for himself no matter how many people he had to step on to get it. According to Heather Salazar article Bernie Madoff: Greatest Ponzi Scheme in U.S. History she said Madoff was not interested in doing the right thing at all and because of this he let a lot of people down and caused a lot of unhappiness because of it (Salazar). If Bernard Madoff were to do the right thing he would not be in jail right now and if he couldn 't make the same amount of money was making illegally he would still be making a decent amount of it and it would have been clean instead of taken unwillingly from
