“Without ambition one starts nothing. Without work one finishes nothing…” I strongly believe in every word Ralph Waldo Emerson said in this famous quote. For realizing my ambition I have done my bachelors in the exploitation of oil and gas fields in my undergraduate program with a significant exposure on renewable and sustainable energies. To accomplish my ambition at every stage I planned well and worked hard. Schooling infused in me a keen sense of analytical reasoning and scientific temperament. My ceaseless efforts and strong will power earned me a Distinction at intermediate level with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as majors. I am most proud that I have obtained my Bachelor’s degree through 4 years of dedicated academic …show more content…
There has been an enormous increase in the global demand for energy in recent years as a result of industrial development and population growth Supply of energy is, therefore, far less than the actual demand. The urges to accept challenges and to conclude it with a desire to benefit the humankind, I decided to confront the challenges in energy which plays the crucial role in our lives. The lectures were the first rudimentary building block for my interest and enthusiasm in this field. This inculcated my interest in perusing through Tech. Magazines like “Renewable Energy World" and “Large Scale Solar World”, and the Internet in my leisure gave me a much better understanding of the Non conventional sources of energy and their effective …show more content…
I am an athlete and I won gold medal for discus throw in state level competition and I also won a medal in national level competition for 100meters sprint. I have practiced “Taekowndo” (Karate) for five years, which helped me to build physical fitness. At UPES I have taken active part in all college fests and seminars. I was a member of SPE student chapter. As a part of that I have organized many events. To keep myself abreast with the most recent international developments, I consciously availed myself of all possible opportunities to attend various conferences and special training programs. I attended quite a number of domestic and international conferences. Under this program I was selected as a mentor to guide my juniors in their projects and I was also selected as a student placement representative of our branch. These activities have led to the development of a multifaceted personality and have equipped me with strong interpersonal skills. My academic achievements, research work and inter personal skills were well
In the past two years I have participated in many after school activities and in the Dover districted. This year I have participated in many educational school activities like TSA, Science Olympiad, VEX Robotics, and Odyssey of the Mind. During TSA I have participated and won in events. In T-shirt design I won state champion (1st place) and in prepared speech I placed 2nd.
As I traveled through each grade of the Croton-Harmon High School, my personal and academic goals helped to me to really flourish. These goals may have varied from year to year because a freshman is a little different from a senior, but they basically had all the same concept: I wanted to strive in school to be the best all-around student I could be, constantly stay focused and immerse myself in the Croton community. By setting my expectations and goals very high, I could flourish academically and really work to my full potential. By following these goals in school I pushed myself very hard and tried to take classes that would challenge me as well as help me to flourish as a student.
Initially, my entire high school career, I have worked exceedingly with every activity that I have done. In this case, maintaining a 3.6 GPA and ranking 14 out of 122 of my classmates has shown my commitment to my education. While attending school every day, I cultivate my academic skills to overachieve expectations. To
With these continuous marks, it is evident that I would be able to succeed and maintain a high average in post-secondary studies. Throughout my Highschool years, I achieved academic honours in all of my 32 courses. This status allowed me to support other students in achieving higher academic levels through sharing knowledge, motivation, inspiring confidence, and cultivating a passion for academics. It means going beyond personal gains in achievement scores to helping ensure fellow students have greater confidence and competence in their academics also. I excel in both the sciences as well as classes not directly related to my career path.
My academic achievements throughout my high school career show that hard work and dedication truly do pay off in the long run. All throughout my sophomore

From the time I was very young, I’ve always believed that with hard work, I could accomplish anything I wanted. Although I love to travel and explore new cultures and new ways of life, I am truly a patriotic American and have a great love for my country. Education has always been important to me. I always knew that I would go to college, though I wasn’t always so sure about what I’d study. I began as a nursing major, but after spending a summer working with children, I changed my major to education.
I have overcome difficult challenges in my pursuit of education. I fell behind on my credits, which was the hardest situation to pull myself up from. I caught up and past my colleagues. I am more than ready to further expand my education beyond graduating high school. I am striving to make myself rise above the rest.
As a dreamer and queer woman of color, pursuing a career in STEM has been quite challenging. But I have never let anything get in the way of reaching my goals and dreams. I have swam against the current in order to be where I am today, where I have dreamt of being. I am currently a second year student at Trinity Washington University majoring in biochemistry and minoring in mathematics. I am a dedicated student and an analytical and skilled critical thinker who is eager to learn.
Something that I consider to be both a strength and a weakness in my social work career is my gentle and reassuring manner. On the surface, this may seem like an excellent trait to have. I am very much a “people person” and others are naturally drawn to me. I tend to look at situations in a positive light as much as possible and have become an expert in removing tension between family members or dealing with end-of-life concerns. The majority of the residents value this quality in me and seek me out when a difficult decision needs to be made.
Throughout my life, I have always strived for greatness. I have accomplished numerous amount of things. I have been fortuned enough to be in the Duke Tip Program since the 7th grade, I was inducted into the National French Honor Society in the 11th grade, and I am an honor roll student. In the 7th grade, I was fortunate enough to be invited into the Duke Tip Program. The Duke Tip Program is a nonprofit organization that enrolls thousands of academically gifted and talented youth.
Scientists have found that renewable energy is a path towards the future for a clean and safe environment. Throughout all the studies and findings, there is a continuing fret whether people should be able to use a traditional way of energy or renewable energy, solar power. Solar energy is seen to be effective since there has progressively been more places that are benefiting from solar usage; however there are also some who disagree. Solar energy sources are derived from natural sources and is implicated throughout our daily lives. From the lights in the streets to the computers we use at home.
My main interests lie in my math and science classes, which is the reason why both these careers rely heavily on these subjects. My life goal is to achieve the title of one of these distinguished
