Similarities; There is a lot of similarities between Hamlet & The Lion King. In both storylines there is a king, and both the main families are royalty. Both the “uncle” figures are similar, they’re both secretly evil, and they’re both murderers. Both of the fathers (kings) die at the uncle’s hand. Both the princes (the king’s sons) end up leaving, and going elsewhere, because in Hamlet the uncle convinces Hamlet to leave, and to secretly get killed (which doesn’t end up working), & in the Lion King, Scar convinces Simba to run and hide, which he set the hyenas after him to try to kill him (which doesn’t work).
Odysseus is heroic, courageous, outrageous, bold, fearless, manful, and valiant. Odysseus is heroic because he tricked the cyclops thinking that nobody was his name. Odysseus told his men to make a sharp spear and drop the spear in the cyclops eye so he can remove the giant rock and escape. Odysseus is fearless because him and his son killed the men that tried to take over his kingdom and marry his wife. Another thing is that Odysseus is bold because he made his son believe he was the father after the son did not believe him.
Simba runs away, thinking it was his fault for his father’s death. Many years later, as an adult, Simba returns home and fights Scar for the throne. After the long and intense battle, Scar dies by falling off of a cliff and being eaten by the hyenas. Simba accepts his title as King of the Pride Lands when he roars in the thunderstorm on Pride Rock. In this movie, Simba’s main goal is to claim his title as King of the Pride Lands.
The Dragon had soon burn down Beowulf’s throne-hall to the ground and Beowulf began to plot his revenge. Grendel was known to have attacked innocent soldiers, however; Beowulf attacks, and kills Grendel whereas, his mother will soon take out revenge on his killer. Grendel who is the monster, hated to see the men celebrate their joy after winning victories. In Return, it made Grendel Upset in the movie and textbook when he discovered the men celebrating he goes into the hall once they all were asleep and attacked him.
