Throughout the years thousands of soldiers have sacrificed their lives to protect the american people. Everyday people make sacrifices, they may not sacrifice their lives, but they have sacrificed their time, money and comfort.
People make all sorts of sacrifices. Some sacrifice their time to help others who want help with something or to study for the test that they haven 't studied for. They also sacrifice their time to get up and go to a job interview early in the morning or to go meet with someone. They are sacrificing their fun time to go help rather than hanging out with friends. People also sacrifice their money to help people in need of it. By giving money to the homeless to go buy food for themselves. By helping out with people who
People who join the army express patriotism and sacrifice
There are three main ideas that every American takes pride in, which is their country, freedom, and military. Americans holds their heads high when it comes to its military. From the Army, to the Marines, to the Navy Seals, and all the other branches of military, Americans are both proud and fully supportive of its troops. Sadly, that pride was shaken on April 22, 2004 when famous NFL player and former Army Ranger, Pat Tillman was killed in Afghanistan over friendly fire. After Tillman’s death, the Army tried several time to cover up Pat’s actual cause of death to try and use him for propaganda recruitment purposes.

Also soldiers are fighting for freedom and people are not fighting because they don't want freedom. Us soldiers are giving our lives to help save this country and we are also saving lives for those who are injured. This reason is causing me to re-enlist because I want freedom for my country. This is the third reason why i’m
Our troops in the US go into combat fighting not for the president but to preserve the United
Veterans are people who fought for our country. If we didn't have heroes our country would have been taken over. Veterans are heroes because they are confident under pressure, fight for our freedom, and they are sacrificial. First, they are sacrificial because they go into war and fight for our rights. They are confident because when they go into war they do not say that they are going to lose.
Not many people wake up thinking of the people risking their lives daily. Most of us just think,”should I go to Starbucks or Sonic?” Have you ever had a loved one in the military .I have a lot of relatives who did fight in the military, think of all those soldiers dying and risking their lives for strangers. People they never met and still knowing the risk. Now that is heroism.
Moreover, our countrymen had a choice to become anything they wanted, but they chose to defend our great country and freedom we so graciously enjoy. Now is not the time to dismiss such bravery not to mention commitment. The people of the United States need to stand by our soldiers
On this issue, X and Y say veterans volunteered to serve and they got paid for what they did. Although I understand and to some degree sympathize with the point of view some Americans have, this is ultimately a question of loyalty. What’s at stake is not money but the lives of those who have already risked their lives. Therefore, we must take care of them , afterall they took care of us.
Living life seems to be about survival and happiness which means having a good wellbeing. There is rarely ever a motivation for a person to do something for somebody else unless they get something out of it. For example, I could volunteer my time to help in a soup kitchen, but in return I most likely will want to be
In the United States, serving in the military is seen as a model of true patriotism, and rightfully so. Service members train for 10 weeks in their transition from civilian to a soldier. They train to be able to endure all the hardships that may come their way. Service members have to be in the best physical shape to serve and because of all that they do, they are thought of as brave and selfless people. Service members make extreme sacrifices to defend our country and act selflessly by doing so; it is fitting that they are seen as heroes by many Americans.
In the United States thousands of veterans are not able to leave behind the horrors and traumatic events they experience while at war. They bring the war home and have to re-experience it in their minds each and every day, no matter how much time has passed since their last battle or traumatic
(Phillips) What soldiers do for everyone is an act of love in itself, even if it may be for their own benefit; they are here for our country and saving others, willingly. In everyday life we see heroes, not just those in uniform, but the people who blend into the background. We see them all the time, but do not give them any thought, and we take them for granted more often than not. These heroes can be the ones who donate to charity around Christmas time so a child can eat. The people who go underground every day as a coal miner to keep everyone’s lights on, are heroes.
The war is something no one wants to go through. Soldiers train to fight for their country and for their very lives. In doing so, the war isn’t a pretty place to be in. Many soldiers have returned with diseases, missing limbs, and mental trauma. After fighting the war, numerous soldiers return home injured or has contracted some type of health condition or disease.
With depression, it makes it difficult to start a conversation with, or even acknowledge, another person due to a fear of judgement placed by said person. Because of this, many people with depression hate being in public and are sometimes even labeled as ‘just introverts’, which is entirely false. Extroverts can just as easily become depressed and refuse to go out into public. With donations of any kind, someone is giving another person what they need - be it money, clothing, or an organ - without knowing them on any sort of personal level; something that isn’t easy to do. It imbues people with a sense of accomplishment and success, a far greater feeling than
