One of the biggest issues I feel the young people of, not only today, but for a while now, face is childhood obesity. However, in the more recent years I feel as if it has continued to get worse. With all the new technology that comes out each year and the decrease in the amount of work it takes to control and operate these gadgets, children have no reason to move around when they are being entertained on the couch all day. We need to get young people out and moving, I believe it is essential to have the youth participating in at least one sport and encourage them to go outside to play, it doesn’t have to be an all-day thing, but if you can manage to get them out of the house for at least an hour a day that is better than none at all.
