A popper/ amyl nitrate is an inhalant drug. It is mostly used to increase function for sex and pleasure. Another name people use for it is snappers. Why people use inhalant drugs is that it is an alternative to other types of drugs that change your mood because they are cheap and can be bought legally. At first the amyl nitrate was at first used as a prescription drug in 1937. Amyl nitrate was a prescription drug until September 1960 because the FDA stopped the prescription requirement. Then in the late 1960’s pharmacists and drug manufacturers noticed a lot of purchases in young men. Then the FDA reinstate the prescription requirement.
The drug is good use for treating cyanide poisoning. It will expand the blood vessels and is rapidly absorbed
