Ananda like Nina had lost his parents in an accident and went to Canada with his uncle, a successful dentist in Halifax to pursue his higher education. His loneliness and troubled memories of his parents were haunting him in the beginning and his stay with his uncle Dr Sharma’s family for a month made him realize that he was expected to be on his own. He shifted to his friend Gary’s place where he felt more comfortable and it was there he discovered that he has some sexual difficulties while he tried having sex with Sue, a friend of Gary. But he couldn’t accept it and associated it with only white girls. Looking for Alaska by John Green is a non-fictional novel about a boy names Miles "Pudge" Halter. Miles leaves his home town behind to attend boarding school at Culver Creek Preparatory School. Here he meets his best friends the Colonel, Takumi, Lara, and the love of his life, Alaska Young. Although the group of friends have many fun times in the "before" half of the novel, they face a tragedy that they will have to live with for the rest of their life in the "after" and things will never be the same. Looking for Alaska mostly takes place in Birmingham, Alabama, at Culver Creek and the time of the novel is modern time.
Christopher tells his mother that his father said she was dead, and she's horrfied to know this. Christopher's father tries to find him and succeeds but his mother demands that he leaves, and insist that Christopher should stay and live with her and Mr shears. But Christopher is scared of Mr shears and is really eager to go back to school home and do that important exam that would help tremendously with getting him into university. After about a week passes he and his mother decides to go back home, and of course in time for Christopher's exam. Even though he hasn't been eating or sleeping for a few days on end he still decides to do it.

Paper Towns by John Green should be read by ninth graders because of common themes it shares with other books, like friendship, coming of age, and freedom. The theme friendship is in Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, as well as Paper Towns by John Green.

At the beginning Bob and Helen are doing superhero work then they meet and decide to get married. All superheroes get sued and shut down because they are costing the government too much money.
