To add, despite his absence, he is still an important, influential and well-loved character in the book. Boo Radley is an extremely complicated and hidden character. Throughout the book, there are a multitude of rumors that Scout –the novels narrator- has heard herself, as well as her own wild imagination. He is thought to be dead at one point. “’Miss Maudie,’ I said one evening, ‘do you think Boo Radley’s still alive?’
Poor judgement is the stem of many issues, especially in the context of social situations. The blurred lines between right and wrong lead to poor choices and major complications, sometimes going as far as death. F. Scott Fitzgerald 's The Great Gatsby emphasises the idea that poor choices can lead to disastrous events. Nick Carraway is a close acquaintance of Jay Gatsby, who ends up interfering in Gatsby 's fate and fates of others. Ironically he does so by doing nothing.
Jury 3 was a major contributor to the plot of the story, and constantly added outrage. He regularly brought unnecessary remarks and accusations to the jury room. His remarks and comments usually didn 't pursued the other 11 jury’s, but the criticism sure made things more hectic and frustrating. Jury 3 was for sure the antagonist in the story, with out him there wouldn 't of been
In the introduction of the novel, John Williams calls Stoner ‘a hero’. However he is kind of an anti-hero. He has alienated himself from everything and everyone. As Livatino discusses in his article that; ‘he is a hero because against all odds he has overcome his parents’ mute existence and against all obstacles nurtured a lifelong passion for matters of the mind and heart.’ Livatino does not agree with John Williams opinion with Stoner.
Before he created Hyde, he was not able to satisfy most of his dark urges, which causes him unhappiness. The book goes from the present to the past and back. The book is a mix of realism and legend and has elements of mystery in it. Louis Sachar puts humor in the book were people really have to think about. Their are a lot of little jokes in the book. The song from the family is also a good feature says the writer.
Odysseus In "The Odyssey", Odysseus of Ithaca is put in many difficult situations on his journey. Some people may say that Odysseus was a good leader, they are wrong. I say that Odysseus was a bad leader in the long run, all of his men died because of him and the men were not loyal to Odysseus. Odysseus was selfish and he sometimes had too much pride in himself which got the men and him into trouble.
Nick is not an honest storyteller but he is a reliable narrator because throughout the story he has been judgemental towards others and not saying the full truth or truly giving the reader the satisfaction of knowing his feelings. In the beginning, he said this “In consequence, I’m inclined to reserve all judgments, a habit that has opened up many curious natures to me and also made me the victim of not a few veteran bores.” (Pg.1). Thus from the very beginning of the novel, Nick was stating he had to reserve all judgments but as the reader continues to read on this statement turns out to be false as he in multiple occasions judges a character such as Tom, Gatsby, and Daisy. Nick is a reliable narrator though he tells the full truth all the way to the end well at least to the reader not actually to the characters in the novel.
With many of his works revealing an interest with the dark side of human nature, Poe’s personal life may have contributed to the morbid, creepy style of writing he commonly uses. A victim of misfortune, Poe encountered many ill-fated events throughout his lifetime (death in his family, troubles with his foster father, and his compulsive gambling to name a few). A writer’s experiences can affect their work, and the same can apply to Poe. Many of the occurrences in his life usually end up in his work.

Marcus Luttrell is more than lucky, he is also highly skilled in the art of combat and is a shining example of human determination. Luttrell has done much more than just serve his country; he has also started charities for veterans and continues to be an avid member of his community.
Junior being born on the Reservation has always been poor and put down by others. (pg 272) Overall, The Story of Tom Brennan is a novel about pain and suffering and virtually every main character in it feels some degree of it. Some feel it more than others. Tom suffered tremendously and more than anyone else even when compared to Fin or Daniel, even though Fin was irreversibly harmed physically and Daniel had to life with the debt he felt he owed to everyone. Tom’s life, or what was left of it, was never going back to normal and it was because of
Throughout this book Gene is a very confusing character with a complex mind. At the very beginning of this novel Gene is portrayed as a very competitive and jealous person. You only feel this way because in a sense he feels threatened by Finny, his best friend. Which is one of the “confusing” aspects of this book because you would imagine that if someone is your
The crime drama shows us how hard the life of a Detective can be. However the representation is not always accurate as at the end of nearly each series, we see characters turn against Luther and he is portrayed in a very negative way, a way we do not
