A ‘best friend’ is someone who knows lock, sock and barrel about you, the one person whom you cannot attempt a vital moment without, your conscientious pal. My best friend was more like family to me .Meghan the blonde beauty with silky blonde hair tied up with the finest pearls. I still do not know how such a big heart fitted into the top of her hourglass figure. Meghan was someone who would help you out when you were at your worst, make sure that your hair always looked pretty just like hers! Meghan was a motherly figure in my life, she would make a person feel warm and welcome in her company.
You know when you do not have a family of your own anymore it is nice to know that there are other peope that can make one feel contentment when you come in contact with them. I was eleven years of age when I watched my father climb into his BMW from what was known as my ‘fun room’ ,however it did not seem that fun that day. I was not sure if it was the fog on the window that was evaporating and initiating earthward or if it was my eleven year old self crying because I knew ‘’Daddy’s little princess’’ would never see her brave King again , how was I meant to be brave again if the only person who made me feel brave was … gone?

I was laying in bed on a Siberian Sunday before noon, at my aunts condominium ,the house that when you walk in the front door your hands become sweaty , you can feel your heart inside of your mouth and the room marches with each footprint that you leave behind on the dusty

The sun had just begun to rise and the temperature was growing warmer with each passing minute. Gusts of wind brought dust swirling into the house as I lay in the bed that I shared with my mom and sister. My mom was just beginning to scrub clothes across the surface of a washboard and was hanging them up to dry on the nearby clothesline outside. Laundry was what kept our family alive because after my father left us a few years ago life became so much harder. I often helped my mom around our one room house cleaning, fixing meals, and occasionally helping collect laundry from our neighbors.

Her heart was broken, her soul was crushed; she couldn’t believe it was the truth. Why did he choose Meggie over her? When she was more attractive and smarter and better than her in every way. She didn’t understand, she never understands. She continues to ask herself that question over and over
Nothing seems to compare. One frigid morning before work I walked across the street to get a cup of coffee while I waited for my work supervisor to arrive and unlock the door. Much to my surprise, an aroma that I hadn’t smelled since I was little greeted me at the doorway of the bakery. In that moment, I was a little girl walking into grandma’s kitchen.
Back in my room, while lying on my bed caked in sweat, the sound of freshly battered fish being dropped in a hot wok and the waft from a pot of freshly made congee fills the air. The combination of the overwhelming heat and
Sister, My best friend would describe me as a sister because she is more than just my best friend. She is my family. I cherish this because one may never know how much you need family until you don’t have them in your life. I will forever value all of my lifelong friendships I have made throughout my entire life and truly cannot thank God enough for every single person he has planted in my life with such true
She was not considered a friend, but more like family. Everything I did was with and was included in every life event. Continuously, our friendship was filled with love, empathy, and loyalty through the actions we have served for each other. Comparably, Ginny and I both were against everyone who teased and mocked our best friend, someone who has made such a difference in our
Title: The Friendship 9: A Symbol of Courage and Unity in the Civil Rights Movement Introduction The Civil Rights Movement in the United States was a period of struggle for social justice and equal rights, particularly for African Americans who faced systematic discrimination and segregation. In the 1960s, a group of young black students in Rock Hill, South Carolina, stood up against the unjust Jim Crow laws by engaging in a peaceful sit-in protest at a whites-only lunch counter. Their actions, known as the Friendship 9, became a pivotal moment in the Civil Rights Movement and exemplified the courage, determination, and unity of those who fought for freedom and equality.
Friendship “A best friend is someone who you can talk to, who won’t judge you, loves you for you, and most of all, makes you feel like you are worth something.” Even though this is written by an anonymous person, it is still extremely empowering. During the novel Freak the Mighty, Max and Kevin demonstrated a strong friendship. In fact, when they accepted each other without judgment and made each other feel like they belonged, their friendship grows. Friendship is important because having a good friend can get you through rough and frustrating times.
What defines a good friend? The average person will have developed numerous friendships throughout their lives, but what determines which friendships will be lifelong or temporary? Family can be constituted as individuals you love, trust and care about, I personally consider my friends as family since those are the traits that produce quality character in an individual. There are many ways to define a good friend but the keys traits a friend should have are being trustworthy, loyal and caring.
I can see my breath when I breathe out. I can hear the snow crunching underneath my thick wool boots and fuzzy socks, and can hear the sound of my own breathing. The faint howling of the wind sounds like ghosts swarming the city on Halloween. I notice an old abandoned, dilapidated house far off in the distance, in desperate need for a new paint job. With it’s rickety old
College represents something different to everyone. The student will be accountable for attending class, navigating around campus, and obtaining help when needed. What do you think the meaning of true friendship is, maybe it 's knowing that you trust a certain person with any secret or physical object, somebody who would take a bullet for you, or maybe it 's somebody that you 've grown up with all your life. Everybody has their own definition of ¨true friendship.¨ I personally believe that true friendship is when two people can trust each other with just about anything, they let you succeed and fail on your own, but they always help you when it is most important. I dislike it when people say a true friend doesn 't ¨snitch¨ or lets you copy off their paper for test or more important assignment. This shows that they don 't see the other person as a friend, and more as a ¨get out of jail free¨ card. Some people would argue by saying that it shows the person’s willingness to help, but I believe that the only thing you’re helping them with is failing to prepare for responsibilities.
Most people will come across a person that they will become very close with and call them their best friend. Zach Martin is my best friend and there are many reason for that. He is a very trust worthy person, he is fun to be around, and he is like a brother to me at this point. Also, if I ever need help with something he will come to help me if he can. Zachary Alan Martin is 5’8” and weighs approximately 170 pounds.
