The one company I would definitely like to work for some day would be Walmart. There are many reasons why I would like at Walmart. One reason is because I could make a lot of innovations to this company. One reason would be because you can make a lot of money with what you do. From some reviews that I read from people that worked in the corporate office people enjoyed the use of a lot of new technology, good pay, and the benefits they received. On another persons review they said most of the co workers he had to work with were very engaged in different things such as new projects they were coming up with. On another note, people were also saying that when you worked more than your average time you had a good pay for working overtime. …show more content…

People love to do that because you could make a lot of more money than you put in the stock market which is known as profit. The way you can make money is to buy multiple stocks of a company and looking at data you can see if over say a months time you can see how much money you could make if you sold the stocks. You could also lose money in the stock market by the stock you bought having a bad reputation of the company making money. So people that don't do a lot of research may not do good in the stock market because they don't know much about it. But for the people who do know a lot of the stock market so those people will make a profit in their stock balance. I would share my knowledge with the investment manager to start investing in the stock market. There is some advice I also have for mutual funds. Mutual funds are something from multiple companies to diversify your portfolio and have more things from different categories in your portfolio. Also, while investing in mutual funds since it diversify your portfolio you could make a lot of money. With that money you could buy more trucks that ship products quicker with my innovation system. Because when you have more trucks in your company to ship thing you could have more people out at once shipping

According to a 2017 job survey, in America only 24% of employees are very satisfied with their jobs. (Jared Lindzon). This means in America over half of the employees are less satisfied or unsatisfied with their jobs. However, in order to survive, these people must continue to work where the jobs are available. One author who addresses this problem, is Karen Olsson in her article “Up Against Wal-Mart”.
“It is a wise man who said that there is no greater inequality than the equal treatment of unequals” (Frankfurter). There is a time in life where a person can work just as hard as you but that person seems to be more successful than you. Having the same equal treatment as someone else will not make you equal to them. In “Up Against Wal-Mart”, Karen Olsson writes an article about employees being mistreated by Wal-Mart. Employees are unable to be successful to achieve the American Dream because of this mistreatment.
This position is out of my scope due to my lack of knowledge. Ultimately, form reading the reviews and review their site, I believe they have a corporate culture that is supportive and opportunities for growth. (Glassdoor, 2017)

On 04-20-2017 I responded to the wooded area West of Walmart. I was called to the scene by the Port Richey Code Enforcement officers. I was advised that defendant and her boyfriend, identified as, Thomas Blow, were trespassing on private property. I recognized both the defendant and Blow from their D.A.V.I.D. photos and previous encounters. The defendant also identified herself as, Stephanie Trost.

The article “Labouring the Walmart Way,” author Deenu Parmar talks about how Walmart is able to achieve selling goods at a lower price then any average superstore. The author goes on to explain that Walmart’s antiunion efforts, employee selection, low prices and high retention rate all contribute to their major success. Walmart’s stance on ant unionism allows them to keep wage cost down and keep all their profits up. Not allowing a union keeps Walmart with the power to keep low wages and force unpaid overtime.
The company has been operating fine for years and total dollar sales have been increasing each year. If the company sticks to the status quo, they will continue to stay profitable. 2. Increase brand awareness

Walmart’s compensation strategy is mostly using base pay that follows the market rate. Employees get paid by hours they worked. Pay rates are different and depend on the job position and working department relative to the organizational structure. Walmart uses job evaluation systems to provide internal equity and determine the basis for wage rate. They evaluated the worth of each job in terms of its skills, knowledge, responsibility or duties required and converted into an hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly wage rate.
Walmart Case Study This case study involves America’s largest and most recognizable retail chains. Walmart steadily grew from its founding in 1962 as a small Arkansas based retail store into the multi-national giant that it is today. One of the issues that Walmart’s unprecedented growth has raised is how it can maintain the ethical standards and principles held by its founder, Sam Walton, when it has grown past its humble roots and continues to grow in an ever more competitive and hectic world.
The company has also gained a strong brand image, because of its uniqueness as a
I. Introduction Walmart Stores, Inc. - the American corporation which was established in 1962, is well-know for the globe’s largest multinational retailer (Walmart 2016). Walmart owns a chain of grocery stores, discount department stores and hypermarkets with about 11,500 retail stores over 28 countries. In 1998, Walmart entered Germany with the acquisition of Wertkauf and Interspar chain (Louisa 2006). Despite having the strongest economy in Europe and the third largest retail market in the world, Germany was not an ideal place for Walmart to achieve its ambition (Knorr and Andt 2003). After nearly a decade struggling to grow, Walmart decided to pull out of German market in 2006 with the loss of one billion dollars (Mark 2006).
