An Ordinary Person Can Be an Extraordinary Hero A hero can be thought of as a fictional character possessing unrealistic super-powers. However, anyone can be classified as a hero. My hero is my mom. She doesn’t fly around with a cape or shoot webs from her hands. She is a hero because of the way she cares for our family. My mom goes through extreme measures to make sure we have everything we need and want. In the morning, she works as a biology teacher for the gifted students at Breaux Bridge High School. During the afternoon she travels to Saint Martinsville and continues to teach honors biology to those students. This provides an income which allows us to remain fed, bathed, clothed, and safe.
