In the passage, Homeless by Anna Quindlen the central idea is our idea of home has changed. First, homes are no longer what they used to be because now they are real estate. This sentence itself is not opinion it’s fact because homes did you used to be about living there, but now it’s about price. Next, there was a time when where you lived is where everything happened like eating,grew and buried. This proves that homes of changed because in today 's world some people don’t grow up in there in their homes and don’t get buried by their house. Finally,where you lived wasn’t a life time it was around 3 years til you would move on. This is proof because back then you stayed where you 're first house was but now you move 4 times a decade.
