There are multiple stories of big companies using photographs, simply because they are available online. It’s really fantastic that companies that protect their assets think of the Web as the Wold West when it comes to photography. So be warned, even your FaceBook, Flickr, Tumblr or Instagram photos are in danger. Obviously, photographers always have to find ways to be seen, promote their work, and still protect their rights. Sharing photographs online is so common these days, that we all want to use it as a means to expose our work to others.

If you look something up online Facebook will monitor it and will them produce ads based on what you have looked up. Persuasive Posts Is social media ruining politics? Nicholas Carr, author of “How Social Media Is Ruining Politics” writes about technology, business, and culture. Carr claims that the changing medias have altered how the people view politics. By analyzing many types of social media, Carr concludes, “it is turning out to be more encompassing and controlling, more totalizing, than earlier media ever was” (Carr 1). Politics have been a very popular trend on social media where many ages of people can see all the political debates.
All of his research on what it has done to our brains is causing us to realize more of his understandings. In Carr's, latest mind research it shows that we all should become cautious and aware of all the things that the internet is causing us to do. He acknowledges that it is also good to use the latest technologies that have came out. This isn't the only story that Carr has wrote, he has been a finalist for a national award. With all of Carr’s mind researches he knows exactly how to keep the reader's attention engaged throughout the entire book.
Marketers also target the Internet by using tools like social media, sites such as Face Book and Instagram for advertisement and promotions. I would like to be apart of this organization, first because it’s a solid foundation. Their marketing managers are extremely intelligent. I feel that being apart of a company like Foot Locker, Inc. I can get the knowledge that is so that I can be just as successful this company marketing

Dangers of Social Media Lots of people post on social media about their beliefs right? People post their oppian on the network everyday. Many people get in trouble because they forget that nothing goes away and anyone can look at it. Lots of people don't know that when they apply for a job their social media can be searched or checked. Searching social media can give an insight to people’s personalities.
It also facilitates finding solutions to these problems by being creative, critical developers and applying innovative thinking to already existing data. Credibility of media sources and the information it releases, poses a major question to the people when there is an open data of information out there. To what extent is the information out there true? To what extent do media illiterate people get affected by false information out there based on the source being use? With this fast digital moving age and with the time constraints that are present on getting the information out, people are turning towards the broadcast media outlets and depending on them for their news information and for their daily updates about their communities and their world around them.
Many key details go into taking charge of individuals online reputation. In the article “Own Your Online Presence” the author writes about the main ways to take back control on ones online presence. The author states how we must always “protect our personal data” and “be current and web wise…. keep pace with new ways to stay safe online: Check trusted websites for the latest information” also to always “Think before you act: Be wary of communications that implore you to act immediately” (“Own Your Online”). Although these seem like common sense tips, many do not realize how important it is to really stop and think before posting online and the article does a good jobs of explaining why it is so important.
