Victor is the type of person that cannot handle responsibility well. We first see this in Chapter 3, after his mother’s death, “My mother was dead, but we had still duties which we ought to perform; we must continue our course with the rest and learn to think ourselves fortunate whilst one remains whom the spoiler has not seized.”
Adam Savage expressed his speech titled "Why We Make" in the pursuit to fathom the reason why makers operate the way they do, and kickoff by expressing his first concoction — a Millennium Falcon he constructed in his mother's closet when he was a youngster. Savage continues to talk about the deceptive dichotomy between pop culture and culture, and how instructors and business professionals shouldn't delineate between reinvigorating the objects of myth and establishing something new. He anticipates a current generation of minorities will be stimulated to invent whatever it is they find intriguing, and points out that science, math, and art are all imperative ingredients for visionary work.
One very important scene that reveals the theme is when Ponyboy and the the rest of his group go to the movies and meet two Socs, Cherry and Marcia. As the movie goes on, Ponyboy and Cherry continue to talk and realize that their prior thoughts they had about each other and each other’s group is false. For example, when Cherry says, that “things are rough all over” (Hinton 35). Stereotypically Socs have money, cars, and are supposed to have this perfect life
At the beginning, the children cannot even go near Boo’s place without palpitation, but at the end, Scout is comfortable enough to walk Boo up to his front porch. Throughout the novel, Scout has changed her view of Boo after a chain of Boo’s actions toward her. As Scout grows older, she becomes wiser to understand her father’s lesson, “You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view – until you climb into his skin and walk around in it ” (39). Her father says this at the beginning, but till the end, thanks to the maturity combined with Boo’s actions that help Scout to understand it. She has matured enough to realize that people should not judge other people by rumor, but give them some chances to prove themselves.
In S.E Hinton's "The Outsiders", Ponyboy is a fourteen-year-old that has a lot to say about himself and the environment around him. When he got introduced in the story, the first thing we knew was that he was living with his brothers Soda and Darry, and his parents had died in a car accident. In his perspective, he knows what's he doing, but he forgets stuff pretty quickly. For example, he admitted that he doesn't use his mind: "one of our gang would have come to get me in his car if I had asked him, but sometimes I just don't use my head"(3, 4). Whenever he has to make a choice, he's imprecise about it and does things that don't appeal to him.

After looking for the word in the dictionary and finding out that Miss Ferenczi is right Tommy feels top of the world, he has built self confidence in him and feels like flying in the sky with proud similar to a way as an eagle flies in the sky. Next day, when Miss Ferenczi came in for the lecture she just starts to talk and drifted to the topic that there are some places and creatures on Earth like sea and animals at the bottom that have never been studied and if say the fish is taken out “the fish explode” (46). Tommy and his classmates see themselves in the fish as they are from a community that has boundaries set out

A smirk came over his face, followed by a verbalization of his thoughts, “We stood up stark naked and waved at the trains. We didn’t know any better.”

In the short fictional story, “Young Goodman Brown” by Nathaniel Hawthorne, the story is told by an outside viewer, on the other hand, the short story “A&P” ,by John Updike, is told by the main character Sammy.
