The song “This is America’ was created by Childish Gambino on May 6, 2018. In the video, Gambino uses clips to show real life situations that occur in America. He shows clips that consist of street crime, gun violence, and racism. He also shows how people endure poverty in America.

At the begging of Gambino’s video there is a clip that shows a man being tied up and eventually killed. He also shows a clip that represents police brutalizing young black men and women in the streets. Both clips are prime examples of true crimes in America. Gambino’s music video “This is America” really shows how induvial’s are being treated in America.

In the middle of his music video, he shows a choir singing at a church, Gambino soon pulls out a gun and shoots
