10 guests receive an invitation to a mysterious island called soldier island, which has recently been bought by an unknown buyer. But all of these guests had different reasons to come to the island, but they all have a dirty secret. Each one of them is guilty and has killed a person intentionally. But the guests slowly die 1 by 1, day by day, minute by minute, trying to figure out who the killer is and if he is among one of them. "He said we were all going to die - he said he was waiting for the end. He - he frightened me..."(Christie 163). Vera was starting to worry and thought that everyone would pay for their sins and die. Even though they all start dying, their deaths correlate to the poem “Ten Little Indians poem” but the china dolls start missing as well as the people start dying. There were a handful of guests that were suspicious, but Wargrave was a highly suspected guest. If he didn’t utilize his cunningness and his intelligence, he would’ve been caught red-handed, and would have only been able to execute 2-3 people. He used his intelligence to gain Armstrong’s and Lombard’s trust, taking advantage of their gullibleness. He made his death look misleading and deceived the other guests to make it look like someone killed him as well. This made him look like an innocent guest and not a homicidal fool. He said in front of everyone "From now on, it is our task to suspect each and every one amongst us.” (Christie 165). This person who is guide tours around the canal with investors and shows them facilities about the canal. However they soon founds out that some gangs has spray painted all over the canal walls, soon after he goes and sees his superior and talks about making a security squad which has person called Quinn in charge and have only leader gets armed with a live ammo and only fires warning shots. When halloween comes, this guide goes out with his two kids and sees that gangs which were painting around the canal. Also security leader Quinn founds the gang and open fires on them and wounds few of them and also misfires on guide’s kids. While after the gangs who got shot were found out as students which were in canal for bird exploring.

This character trapped ten people on an island and faked his own death just to serve, what he thought, was justice. Not me! One part of this book is very shocking. In this part, only two people are left alive on Soldier Island, Philip and Vera, either of which could have been the killer.
He knew that his written confession was essentially useless. By defending himself, he was able to ask Nunally, in front of the jury, about the affair with the victim. Because of the intimate relationship with the victim, Crawford’s confession was thrown out since it could have easily been coerced. Moreover, the lack of evidence against him made it easy for him to defend himself. He stealthily switched guns with Nunally while he was emotionally comrpromised, which allowed the only piece of evidence to leave the crime scene.

As you are shown in the film, after the identification of Brenton Butler and his so-called testimony to investigators, the police and prosecutors just stopped working on the case. Thus, evidence that would have supported Butler’s innocence and help find the actual killer weren’t discovered until Brenton’s defense attorney, Pat McGuinness did some investigation and research of his own. Thus, flowing from film from the trial to McGuinness’s investigation scenes shows the how he attained the information that he and his partner could present in the courtroom. While the prosecutors only had the one eyewitness, who claimed to have only caught a glimpse of the shooter and gave description that did not even match Butler. The film presents the conclusion that the police did not actually do the work to find the actual killer and if it wasn’t for Pat McGuinness and his partner wanting to find the culprit, it would never actually be solved.
