Agatha Christie 's And Then There Were None, is a well known novel that was made into a famous movie, Ten Little Indians. There are many differences between the book and the movie. Some of the differences are, the change of the title, setting, character names, and the way the characters died.
The book took place on an island where the only way to get off and on the island was by boat. The movie took place on a snowy mountain far from a town and the only way to and from the house was by ski lift. The titles are also different. The book is called And Then There Were None but the movie is called Ten Little Indians.
The character’s names and order of deaths are also different. In the book Anthony Marston dies first but in the movie his name was Micheal Raven. The second one to die was Mrs. Rogers but in the movie her name was Mrs. Groham. The third one who dies was General Macarthur and his name in the movie was General Mandrake. Mr. Rogers was hit in the head with an axe in the book but fell rockclimbing in the movie. Philip Lombard was shot in both the book and had a fake death in the movie. Dr. Armstrong was found dead in the water in the book but was found dead in the snow in the movie. Mr.Blore had a teddy bear clock fall on him in both the movie and the book. Vera Claythorn hanged herself in the book, but did not die in the movie. Justice Wargrave committed suicide by shooting himself in the book, but drank poison in the movie.
