The number of mobile phone user has been rise dramatically over the years. Globally, if the number of user comparison can be carried out between computer and mobile devices. Mobile devices have approximately 4 times more users than computer. But nowadays cell phone is not only a tool for making call and writing SMS, but it’s a personal item which provides entertainment and information. There should be nothing that users can access on their desktop that they cannot access on their cell phone. There are millions of apps available in Google Play Store (portal for Android apps, games and other content) which is suitable for any state of ages. “These app can free or paid depends upon the publisher of the application available on app store. Many of the apps also have in-app purchase means user has to pay some amount in order to get access to particular feature of that app. These apps can be downloaded directly to an Android devices or Google TV device through the Google Play Store mobile application, also it can be deployed through Google Play Store website to android device” (Jaiswal et. al.,2014). One of the great features on Android software is Google Maps. Google Maps is a web mapping service developed by Google. It offers satellite imagery, street maps, 360° panoramic views of streets (Street View), real-time traffic conditions (Google Traffic), and route planning for traveling by foot, car, bicycle (in beta), or public transportation. The efficiency brought about by this online tool cannot be denied as it has the abilities to check possible routes and landmarks for faster travel time. This can make the journey easier and help locate businesses, venues and private addresses that users are not familiar with. Besides, most Android phones have removable storage and battery. Gordon, W. By referring to the study in pricing it is clearly showed that Android’s user can get the Android phone at the cheapest price in the market. “In the present world, smart devices are getting smaller and handy. All the data and activities that used to be on personal and desktop computers are rapidly being transferred to handheld smart devices. Since smart devices have become more functional and may carry a large amount of owner’s private and confidential data with the risks of theft or getting lost; there must be some reliable and efficient techniques for authentication so that users feel more confident about using their smart devices for personal and confidential tasks” (Munam et. al.,2016). The results of this paper show that users can gain benefit from Android by using biometric configuration which is Iris scanner. Internationally recognized and standardized, supported by a variety of technology providers, and already authenticating millions of passengers each year, iris recognition is poised to fundamentally change how identity is verified at international borders.
